#TrollBeards9.1.5
Are you trying to put the dwarves out of business
Lol, actually, yeah, we need troll beards.
Wow. I thought low of you at first, but now you’ve stooped to a new level, Blastkrizzle. I honestly don’t care how much someone hates another person on these forums. Leaking discord names and information outside of the forums that someone doesn’t willingly give themselves is 100% wrong. If you dislike a player so much, you mute them. It’s what I do.
I can’t believe we’re now stooping to justifying stalking behavior and harassing outside of the forums. That’s not right, it’s actually quite pathetic, and you folks scream at the ‘antis’ for being evil.
Well guess what, the same person harassing him hit me as well, and continues to. It’s inappropriate behavior and needs to stop.
Disagree all you want. Snap at each other all you want. Put each other on ignore. But do not bloody justify harassing outside of the forums and sharing personal names. That isn’t cool at all.
You even confirm this by saying this nonsense, I can’t believe you. They’re arguing over pixel elves, and because someone disagrees with someone else, you think it’s a justification to harass? No.
People need to speak up against this nonsense because it is honestly not okay.
Folks, if you utterly hate someone to the point of it bothering you enough to consider harassing them outside of this place, put them on ignore here. I don’t know why people are now trying to justify actual harassment, but here we are. And people wonder why the WoW community is in a very bad state.
This goes toward those who love or hate anything in the game. We’re going to disagree. I disagree all the time. But if it leads to an escalation and justification like that…just…put the people you hate on ignore like I do, and continue to give suggestions/try to enhance the game and argue with logic. This isn’t me forum policing me, it’s common sense.
Your link doesn’t mention fel magic at all though. I checked the page it’s citing. Nothing.
Thanks for trying though. You’re not wrong in that there isn’t evidence against Warlocks as far as High Elves go, other than residence in places that frown upon it or outlaw it. I was hoping for something I might’ve missed in Legion that would suggest the Kirin Tor were open to more powers for study.
Yeah, that’s what’s really getting to me here. There’s no good reason to leak real info on the forums, and he’s acting like you’re the problem.
Massive yikes.
While using language to suggest it will happen again because by stating my opinions on pixel elves I haven’t “learned anything”
Yeah, I’m still a bit shocked by what he’s said today, I mean I have had lots of disagreements and arguments with lots of people on the forums but I always leave it at that at the end of it but the whole outside of the forums, real names, etc. stuff is just crazy to me. I guess the best way to put it is if he’s so bothered by Lann like I said in my last post he should step away for awhile.
It’s so gross I am struggling to find words. Just…what even?
Sorry for jumping in to further derail, but I felt it had to be said.
On topic a bit more, I 100% support troll beards and more stuff for trolls that want it. I also think blood troll customization for Zandalari would be neat, but they unfortunately already said no. Granted, that could change, but it would need a TON of lore. Truth be told, I would play a blood troll (regular Zandalari model, personally, but different body types would be neat.)
Also, not a fan of class/race restrictions as I feel anyone should be able to train in whatever magic type at this point, except for a few very specific scenarios that clash (opposing magic types).
Sure…
" They’re not … recruiting , necessarily, but they’re open to those who show a similar interest"
That’s literally assertive language. And the game literally had new elves interested since velves were implemented.
Trying to read it as something else is just, wishful thinking on your part.
I mean, the sunwell link is not a problem?
Anyway I’m just saying being pedantic about it being warpaint is pointless because it pretty much seems it might just be her tattoos.
Not at all? one thing is not related to the other?
I’m not saying"belves aren’t dark rangers" or whatever. I’m saying dark rangers are a class, not a race. High elves are very much a race.
Except that they were obviously introduced with them being velves in mind. And they are raining the exact same way Alleria did, and alleria is THE void elf. Arguing against that is simply stubbornes for the sake of it.
Either way the subrace is not meant to be velves but helves so that doesn’t even matter to what I said.
I’m not sure why you focus only on the Kirin Tor elves?
High Elves are all different subgroups of High Elves - some of them live in Dalaran, some of them were exiled from Silvermoon, some others live in the Hinterlands, or in Stormwind.
Just because one group might dislike Fel does not mean the rest of the High Elves disliked Fel as well. Exiled High Elves didn’t mind Fel - and that’s what my link said, they could hardly be opposed to Fel if they didn’t even know those Fel crystals were Fel.
The High Elves in Quel’danil were also opposed to Arcane magic (any sort of magic, in fact). It wouldn’t be logical, however, to suggest that playable High Elves shouldn’t have access to the Mage class simply because this particular group of High Elves are against using Arcane.
No it’s not. If I said I’m not dating but I’m open to try with someone who has similar interests" that doesn’t mean I’ve got a relationship going, just that I’m open to it.
Yes it is.
Troll beards. Full beards for blood elves. Undead beards. Beardless dwarves. (I’m joking, no one throw rocks at me please).
Tattoos for belves. Heck tattoos or warpaint for all. Don’t gender lock tattoos, jewelry, or anything. Braided styles for belves, pleassse! Freckles, scars, beauty marks, etc, that aren’t locked to specific faces.
Nightborne ear options. Better faces for nightborne women. Give eye size options to every race.
Let’s not escalate the situation with misinterpreted statements. I do not “hate” anyone here but I do not care either for one of you. My point of view is pretty simple: The user in question escalated their situation in the past so much that their details got leaked. Given they returned to the forum again and continue the very same specific pattern which likely caused things to gradually worsen the situation, what’s the point in repeating it again after they burned themselves the first time?
You all can arguably say it was a low blow from me but again, was it really necessary to start antagonizing the same group again? The people haven’t changed, no?
I am sorry Lann if I hit you on the wrong foot here but as far as I can see things are going to repeat themselves here. I just wondered why you feel the entitlement to attack the exact same group again with a complete new ankle to position yourself above them.
Which is beyond inmoral.
Not merely sad it IS inmoral. Blizzard just confronted a lawsuit explaining to them why that kind of behaviour is not allowed in the 21st century, period.
I agree, the actual words are "they´re not… recruiting, necessarily, but they’re open to those who show a similar interest.”. Which means they are perfectly ok with their groupies hanging around to watch them play with Void stuff, no more and no less. Nothing there implies any kind of vow nor obedience the Helves or Belves visiting have to exercise regarding Alleria, Umbric nor the Alliance.
My dear Moon… I see you guys forgot that famed day the “Void Elves can look like Blood elves but not vice versa” thread blew up -poor Fen-. I quite remember that day cause it was when I A) blocked like three members of that pro fanclub on the grounds of them actually condoning inmoral behaviour, and b) the Goblin jumped to defend the individual behaving badly.
It is the biggest problem, cause if she was linked to the Sunwell before, she pretty much is linked right now.
When should we expect for her, Umbric et al to blown up in a spectacular show of “lights”?
Wrong, they´re a faction… just like Helves. ALL the thalassian speaking elves ARE High Elves, they just belong to different factions separated by living status and real politiks, period.
Sorry not sorry, unless Danuser gives a CONCRETE answer to the issue in question, this is pretty much headcanon, period.
Yeah, a lot of peple like to conflate the High elves with the silver covenant, but in truth there’s many groups.
Those who went with Stormwind from the start. The SC, Those who escaped with the dwarves, those who went to outland, those who went to theramore (granted most of this last one might be nuked lol).
I can see this will be productive.
He didn’t actually say anything, it was vague and open ended, if you want to be generous, because they have some plan for revealing it and they don’t want to spoil it in an interview when they can spoil it in-game instead.
I like how you just came into all this mess on these forums not too long ago but you have strong feelings about old forum beefs.
Says the person who came into these threads swinging wildly with made up attacks on people.
Well, my point is more that there doesn’t seem to be a sizable enough settlement of High Elves anywhere to demonstrate an interest in Fel, in a location where such studies are permissible. I keep going back to Dalaran because it is the largest settlement with a sizable population of High Elves and magical resources.
As you noted, Quel’Danil has refused all forms of magic, Quel’Lithien is just gone, and the Allerian Stronghold is made up of veterans who fought against demons and warlocks and hasn’t really demonstrated some sudden tolerance for them. Theramore is gone, so this by and large leaves Stormwind. We know that Warlocks are tolerated in the Alliance, a change from Vanilla where Warlocks had to hide in the basement of the Slaughtered Lamb and pull strings with the Council of Nobles to survive, however, there isn’t any indication of widespread interest in Demonology by Stormwind’s High Elves. Keep in mind, Stormwind also seems to be the ONLY place where’s its legal/acceptable among the High Elves’ settlements.
You are blaming Lann for simply disagreeing with them. There is no justification for them to drop his name in the forums, period. None. It’s not his fault either, that they choose to act badly over elves.
Stop blaming the victim. Stop acting like they should be allowed to use any means necessary to bully people into silence.
