Why the lack of Customization?

Please give Blood Elves those tattoos!

If they’re unique to them even better, so we help them be visually distinct from Void Elves.

But it was him who got stalked and all his name leaked on discord because how much players dislike him, isn’t it? Perhaps it’s about time to keep the childish war on a lurk-warm level before things boil over again.

Undead still learning to practice the light has been part of the lore since vanilla.

I mean Trolls have like 3 races between them.

Is just what falls on some races that allowed them to have easy subraces.
Is just how the lore has gone. So far none of the sub races have been unjustified. It just happened that horde races didn’t have as much in terms of tehse lorewise, while the alliance did have High Elves, Wildhammers and Highborne. But the latest hasn’t really been given the proper care Blizz should.

Horde would’ve gotten more if Ma’ghar weren’t like 7 clans on their own. Which made them the first race with “subraces”.

Doesn’t mean they had to invent new subraces for each race so everything had parity in that way.

That I remember but it was always a more niche thing for their society, as at large they had adopted the cult of the forgotten shadow.

I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make there. But it doesn’t seem like a good one to be trying to make.

True, I’m not looking for parity, I’m looking for every option that makes sense to be included. Like I said, if Blood Elves end up with four very distinctive looks and Void Elves only have two, it won’t bother me at all. I want every race to have as many options as reasonably make sense for them.

Are you really trying to equate actual harassment as okay just because people dislike someone because that’s all I am getting from this post.

Would anyone be bothered by that, though?

Uh… Think I missed the answer you gave me then… Lol

Yeah, I like stuff that makes sense.

I think it’s clear to anyone that reads me that I find restrictions fun all in all. As it makes the differences more pronounced and special. But the things that are allowed lorewise should exist.

Also lore developments should happen, but they should happen first before we get some stuff.

This. So much this.

If Void Elves had existed sooner than five minutes before the end of their recruitment scenario, they would’ve been SOOOOO much better received.

I just find funny he says all that

But tries to make me out poorly because I stated

Idk per their own words they admit a group did do some pretty antagonistic things but then see my opinions on this topic as the the real issue lol.

No. But with such behavior towards other players it’s no big surprise if resentment fosters actual harassment. It’s no one’s interest who the user is behind the account but one would think they would have learned something from the last time.

I went back for you and they removed the posting. You wrote something akin to “would you tell it for me?” and I replied to. I think they removed the posting due the mentioned name.

They should have replaced Dar’Khan with Solarian, and instead of Blood Elves they should’ve been a mix of High/Blood Elves.

Hopefully they can still make it happen somehow.

Yeah… Never ended up seeing that.

Sounds an awful lot like you’re blaming Lann for someone leaking his actual name on the forums?

Not a great look.

Imagine if they had been introduced in one of the many many plotlines that were worked in Legion among many clases. Just one of them. Crazy thought right?

Or if at least they would’ve used previously known belf characters and not randomly create Umbric.

Danuser already said the way they grow is by allowing more helf and belves to join. Which fine. But yeah Solarian made waaaay more sense.

Even Aethas made more sense since he traveled to Argus and got interested in the forge there. He could’ve met Alleria and formed a frienship.

Regardless of how much someone dislikes someone else on the forums it doesn’t justify actual harassment so realistically it should have happened to Lann the first time and implying that it could happen again really isn’t a good look for you.

Yeah I know there are new Void Elves and such. But seeing it in game would be marvellous. :stuck_out_tongue:

This.

Meh, not a fan of Aethas personally. I didn’t like how he managed the whole Divine Bell incident.

Did he?

Or is this more of pretending the statement that can be succintly translated as “maybe things might possible happen” is a definitive statement?

I’d have preferred just High Elves.

Ideally, I’d have wanted the Void Elves to be the Silver Covenant. Just, the entire Covenant sans Vereesa, the whole lot of them joining Alleria on a mission in Outland looking for missing rangers from the Allerian Stronghold, and then they get transformed en-mass by an Ethereal. The Silver Covenant are an already existing elite squad of elves, and they are what a lot of Alliance players think of when asking for playable High Elves.

I’d also have liked some tidbit stating there are areas of Telogrus that experience the passage of time much more slowly relative to Azeroth and every Void Elf spent a thousand years studying the Void under the teachings of Locus-Walker/Alleria. Because mastering those teachings in a weekend was cheap.
