Would be fun to get some moral ambiguity in the Alliance anyways. I’m mean really, how moral would it actually be to create more Void Elves? The people have gone wonky, so maybe it can be more cult like.
How does that prevent Void Elves from having access to natural hair/skin colors, though?
Indeed, and that was terribly bad. They even admitted it.
Sure, but they would once again backpedal and retcon what they had previously stated. Meh, it’s Blizzard in the end. They said Blood Elves wouldn’t get blue eyes and here we are.
Not at all I do get your point.
Oh God yes… The inconsistency… I guess that’s precisely why I’d want them to offer a lore explanation for Worgen tails? Like I said, I’m not against them (I’m indifferent if anything), but lore explanations are always good.
I’m not saying “Worgen shouldn’t get tails unless it’s explained”, I’m saying that whether Worgen receive tails or not, personally I’d like a lore explanation, not a simple retcon. So if in the end Worgen receive tails without explaining why, I wouldn’t get upset or anything, I’d be glad for all the people who want them (I can relate… High Elves, regular options for Void Elves, fixed Nightborne, etc.).
I really want to clarify this, because in no way have I ever intended to limit or condition players’ wants in any way. That’s absolutely the contrary of what I’ve always advocated for.
Yeah there’s already High Elven scholars in the rift, so it’s being implied that there is a high interest in the study of the Void. Not much of a reach that HEs are tapping into it.
We know per the devs non Blood Elf High Elves are far and few between on the Alliance so seeing them return to Quel’thalas I guess leaves the 9 NPCs or what ever it is in the rift
I just went back for you to link the twitter discussion but it has apparently removed. It was something offensive what wow developer Valentine Powell said. Perhaps it will pop up the next few days with a screenshot, like most of those things do nowadays.
The discussions in the past have alleged the OL HEs returned or interested in returning to Quel’thalas. I don’t see the militaristic neutral SC interested in the VEs.
The lore to secure what’s been suggested with HEs returning to their home and kin in Quel’thalas, as well as VEs tapping into lore to see that expanded on is nice for both sides.
So it’s odd that previously you felt the BE request for Farstrider tattoos would go to VEs, if you find concede SC joining the VEs and not either staying neutral or rejoining the BEs is odd.
Blood Elves deserve unique options pertaining to their main theme that they alone are able to utilize. Just like VEs have their own unique theme. And Blood Elves deserve a second visual theme just like VEs have RP tools for a secondary theme.
It’s not odd if you understood what I was saying. My point was always that tattoos don’t just vanish. If they had the tattoos as a Blood Elf, they would have the tattoos as Void Elves.
I have exactly zero interest in having this discussion again though because it’s clear you were not reading what I was saying.
Yes I’m for unique tattoos for each, logically speaking however, they would be similar. Would I prefer they are different? Absolutely. Do I expect Blizzard to NOT do a copy/paste of the assets…well… no.
