Lol, me too, I keep getting 4 hour cooldowns then I use them and bam another 4 hour cooldown.
I guess my point is everything you listed is just pixels in wow, I think there’s room to disagree there freely, people are passionate even, idk thats where I fall.
I respect them as a poster because they’ve never faltered defending Blood Elves, my previous position thinking something for both communities (long ago when I supported HE options) wanting new things for BEs as well, I think was the wrong stance, today we’re in a position to have a second visual theme especially since VEs have two but I think there needs to like Mag said
There are void options BEs shouldn’t get and BEs should better be able to represent their main visual theme as well.
I do think you’re both constructive posters on the topic of Blood Elves I like you both, and like we found out just now there’s even places where I disagree with you and to me thats okay, I still know you’re a great person and will continue to look forward to conversing with you whether its in agreement or not
See I can agree with this sentiment for example as well, it’s well said even if there are very large or giant aspects of the rest of the post I disagree with
How this wasn’t a major feature for all races I will not understand.
At least they gave blind options?
I hate it! Please fix!
We have disagreed before this, on stuff like me thinking Calia is cool and Lor’Themar isn’t but yeah I am glad we can disagree sometimes and still be tight.
Agreed, I like way too many posts to be so restricted.
Hehehe… what can i say, i went in one of my nerd moods -why do you think i ADORE Rommath? cause that guy is a HUGE nerd-.
Indeed… also the boldest Celtic Warpaint option were already implemented in the most iconic Horde race ever… that fight they lost already.
As a Belf player I liked those “bold” styles even before the research cause they put my toon closer to her Orc allies -yes people, Blood elf players usually like the Horde and it´s races-. Only after doing the research I understood the different aesthetic that Alleria got and why.
Yes to all of this… the chance to combine warpaint AND tattoos is what makes SO good the Orc customization.
Belves and heck, every race, should get something similar depending on their lore ofc.
I do think that personal marks like scars should be unique too (like humans shouldn’t get Varian’s) BUT I am all for scars on all races.
I also think that velves should’t get Alleria’s exact tattoo, but the similar design idea.
But yeah you get what I mean.
I hated when Genn could be the only white worgen, that was such BS.
And yeah for belves is stupid how Lor can have all that classy stuff but males can’t… like WTF. Obviously male elves want jewelry.
This point is true, but can be used in reverse as well. If the point being is these are all pixels in a video game, there’s no reason to not have as many customization options for everyone all around.
No reason to limit pixels.
He gets a really good beard option not available to male BEs. Travesty it is!
The point is about not taking things seriously enough to dislike someone over only pixel preferences not a reach that you should be given everything at the expense of others requests which includes a level of visual uniqueness to the main visual theme of Blood Elves.
Some Orc haircuts would be pretty cool too.
Agreed.
Same with Malf and Male Nelves. And Velen and Male draenei. Apparently leaders just have their own secret super beard meetings.
I don’t think anyone dislikes someone just over pixel preference. Usually it’s far more than that.
I still want pink hair for all races, glowy skin for Void Elves, etc. I actually have a list but it’s the idea. Lol.
Attitude is key, look at you and me, we didn’t get along so great previously but now we do.
And the post I was replying to when you tried to insert your reach was this one.
And yes I agree things that are just game preferences aren’t telling of people regardless if I disagree or not on said game preferences.
Not asking you to think it’s fair.
That’s not what this is and you know that.
First, Blood Elves are what void elves were. Tattoos don’t just disappear, we have hunters and no reason they wouldn’t have brought that with them, nor is there a good reason why void elves wouldn’t look to Alleria for inspiration for their own tattoo looks… She’s right there.
Blood Elves definitely should have farstrider tattoos, because it’s their organization. The more Braveheart esque ones also fit nicely with WCII.
Don’t insult me.
One I’ve never changed my interest in Farstrider tattoos for both groups, excepting more recently with a way to actually keep some differentiation.
Second I’ve long been fighting for more void options. I came back to this game because of the void elves and their void aesthetic and all my contentions with helf pros comes from my interest in void options over helf ones.
Just because I’m far more willing to find middle grounds and work with more than one side of this debate doesn’t change what my interests are.
Yes exactly. Hence I suggest one type for one elf and another for the other elf.
Void elves get tattoos reminiscent of the style Alleria has now, and blood elves get ones like they would have had in WCII.
And of course both sides get different types beyond that. Void based runes for velves (n’zoth types ones I mean) and arcane and runic scarification ones for belves. And I have a list of a few others.
(I’d show examples but I’m not at my computer.)
In doing so folk can get neat things that they want and it can be different between sides.
I still can’t believe Draenei can’t have red hair but they can pink lmao.
Definitely!!
One of people’s greatest strengths is their capacity for change.
You were gone for a while, like Naughty includes in that post - Mag was attacking pretty much anyone as a form of lashing out over pixels. I’m not sure if you kept up with all Mag did during your hiatus.
Bro, petition to call fancy Void Elves, Velvets
I can’t comment on what I haven’t seen but I also will have to refrain from taking your word on it, I think we can all be passionate.
I vehemently disagreed with Mags stance on a second visual theme and I find that to be okay, I think when both sides are passionate sometimes it’s perceived worse than intended.
It just makes my lunarwing have an ethereal glow, is that what you’re talking about?
Mostly that y’alls point doesn’t really make sense unless you plan to class lock the requested tattoos.
Mostly because they wouldn’t have much of a choice if they already had the tattoos to begin with. They didn’t sign up to be Void Elves, it was a science experiment gone wrong.
