I would like to request Allerias model be updated and changed myself to better reflect the VEs
And yet BE players still have a right to better portray the main theme of their race than an AR with two visual themes so hopefully it doesn’t come to that

Or course they do. I’d never argue that they don’t? I’m just saying that you shouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard throws VEs tattoos because of the way they implemented the race in the first place.

Yeah the way how they did it is what causes the most trouble to keep them separated. Up to including Alleria that they wanted to keep all pretty blonde and non-blue. Making the forced Blue mutation off putting.
Advocating or reasoning for continued loss of BE visual uniqueness on a defining yet to be announced BE request doesn’t sound like “never” saying BE players shouldn’t have a right to better portray their main visual theme than the AR with two visual themes but maybe we have different opinions on what your comments contribute to so I will agree to disagree
I just love how they recycled the Highborne exile story for the Void Elves.

I love how before teldrassil. Void elves were shown living there, so it was all just a clown circle. Complete with turning purple again.

There’s aspects that make sense, like the fact that they aren’t nature loving Farstriders
I usually tend to agree with you on a lot of things but they are literally tattoos, multiple races have tattoos, why would Blood Elves and Void Elves both not get tattoos if they are ever added to the one.
Case and point Blood Elves could have like red ones and Void Elves could have blue, more colors could be added but it’s just basic point.

Ahh the wonders of rushing a mayor lore implementation such as a race to sell more of the next expac before they show how bad it’s going to be.
Yeah I think this would be best scenario, as I said before cold colours for velves, hot for belves.
Blue, black, pruple for velves.
Red, orange, gold for belves.
And so on.

Alleria didn’t get much of a choice in the matter, it’s not a stretch that some Blood Elves got caught up into the Void Elf shenanigans that were nature lovers before hand.
Void Elves are bare bones and we don’t really know. One doesn’t lose their passion for nature simply for begin a scholar.
Right? Easier solution. I think Fen/Lan linked the tattoos having a shimmer that is similar to the gems of their heritage armor that I’m all for.
There is no issue, not by Blizzard’s standards anyway. I’m not sure what to tell you other than what’s been tirelessly said so far.
You had this same position on hair colors, saying Blizzard didn’t add them because they were respecting visual uniqueness when really it simply turned out they hadn’t realized how many players of Void Elves wanted those options.
Alleria is a light-skinned, blond-haired, blue eyed Void Elf. Players of Void Elves have those options now when before they did not.
Alleria has warpaint/tattoos and feather-y accessories/hairstyle, braids. Those options haven’t been given yet, but the precedent above exists.
Whether you want to call those warpaint/tattoos Alleria has Farstrider or not the facts are this:
- Alleria carries those customization options, an Alliance leader, leader of Void Elves, and even VE being referred to as ‘Alleria’s brethren’.
- Void Elves have gotten customization options that bring them closer to looking like Alleria with each pass so far.
- Many players of Void Elves are requesting those warpaint/tattoo options
I mean think of this way too: Blizzard could’ve changed Alleria’s look (like they changed Turalyon into looking holy space-marine knight), knowing she would become a Void Elf faction leader. They kept her looking that way because they want her to look specifically like that.

I’m sure VEs will get their own unique brand of tattoos that aren’t Farstrider markings. I’ve seen so many nice ideas on that

Many of them are hunters, rogues and monks. Clearly they aren’t all just library/lab turtles.

the most pious of priests or most outdoorsy of farstriders…yea the chances are still pretty much 0 those types would seek out the void elves 
Anyways… Blizzard please consider Onyx skintones for LFD. They’re still lacking in Lightforged themes of some sort as well since jewelry is well…jewelry.
It was an experiment gone haywire wasn’t it? They weren’t Void Elves out the gate. Which is entirely my point. They didn’t really choose to be Void Elves.

Indeed as your own stance mirrors your past stance as well, yet you reason Blizzard will continue to listen to your request at BE players expense, BE players should be better able to capture the visual fantasy of their main visual theme than VEs. Full stop.
What you’re asking for is the continued situation where BEs are unable to represent their own main visual theme to the point of having anything unique for it.
