Yes, and since hunter has been available for Void Elves from the start and they’ve had their Umbral Rangers its very possible that some were Farstriders before leaving with Umbric.
People do things for all sorts of reasons.
Beyond that its still likely that void elves would adopt one of their leaders tattoos styles. They may even have their own meanings behind doing so.
I get what you’re saying, its a Farstrider thing a blood elf thing, but honestly Alleria is a big thing. A hero to both high elves and blood elves and now void elves. People will, as they do in real life, imitate her at the very least.
And given that farstriders are an elite cultural thing for Blood Elves and void elves came from them it wouldn’t be odd for them to take the elite meaning of those tattoos as well for their own cause.
And again like I said, they can adopt only the weird small version Alleria now has… Apparently at some point she changed her tattoos after all… in WCII she had the braveheart kind.

And yeah I’d love to see the more harsh braveheart style for the blood elves over Alleria’s (which are cool on their own) small wavy lines.

Precisely my man, you guys got nothing unique cause massively upvoted threads whose OP read “I want copy-pasted Belf stuff” is embarrasing low hanging fruit to give a designer (people literally gave them the benefit of the doubt with that premise).
Ergo, why for the especific case of the warpaint -frankly, I think it´s silly to call it “Farstrider tattoos”- I vouch for different designs, so both races don´t get AGAIN the hand-me-downs of the other.
Is too why I personally don´t want Velf haircuts either. I rather desire some modicum of aesthetical difference between both races, not the same things with the added insult to injury of them being limited in colors too!!!
I´ve seen you guys have an idea on how both the warpaint and the runic stuff can work on the Velves, we too are -or at least I am- trying to figure out different designs.
Also: denouncing facts si not entitlement. and the Velves got a mini-pass during the core pass (FACT), period.

Excuse me, Miss, I´m not the one complaining over wanting to look like the freaking copy-paste of an ALLIANCE racial leader, you are. You have gone as far as pretending the very Hunter Icon you use isn´t full of paint -and the literal design opposite of the actual looks of current Alleria-.
If anyone here is trying to make the Belves “look” like a Helf, that´s you, not me. I want actual different aesthetical designs, tyvm, cause the less thing I want is to look like one of the Windrunner nutjobs historically affiliated with the Alliance.
I like my Belves, and I like more the fact they are HORDE. If they need some aesthetical inspiration to differentiate their rangers from Alleria & Co., then HORDE aesthetics sure as hell are the way to go!!!
i still dont see active farstriders or ex farstriders seeking out the void
they are the exact opposite of what the farstriders are about. the perversions of nature lorthemar witnessed in the eastern plaguelands alone made him retch
even alleria. the only reason alleria turned to the void was because she was stuck in the twisting nether for a thousand years. for w.e reason she never passed her training with the army of the light and became infused by the light like turalyon. seeking the void was the power up she thought she needed in desperate times. i just dont buy farstriders would become void elves. and the umbral rangers of the void elves already have their unique aesthetic picked out and it looks nothing like alleria/a blood elf farstrider sorry

Like I said many people choose to do many things for all sorts of reasons. Who knows why. We can assume though that they had rangers and hunters at the very least and there isn’t a compelling reason that the concepts at least of the Farstriders did not come along with them.
I understand you think otherwise but I think it’s quite reasonable for some Farstriders or their concept to be among the void elves.

Honestly, this is so true that it hurts.
But people who only are interested in high elves are happy, people who like void elves, some of them don’t even wanted blood elf options are those who are most frustrated.
Would be a shame if they consider copy-paste blood elf options to void elves their customization pass. But to be honest void elves look really good, blue skin+white hair+pink eyes is just perfection, they aren’t that limited in options.
I just think that would be a bit weird if only one legion allied race don’t get new options. But the patch release date hasn’t been announced yet, so we can hope for the best ^^
what about the skin showing through blood elves its really irritating this has been happening for months now not an addon issue or anything just base skin melts through armor when you move your camera out close up its fine but when you zoom out it just goes through the armor hella annoying

And believe me, I feel for them!!! I know how awful is to get your suggestions ignored on top of a crappy customization pass (male Belves basically got beard hand-me-downs and nothing else; female Belves got crappy jewerly nobody uses cause it´s a bother to porperly mix and match with tmogs). But fact is, it´s NOT the Velf fans but the Helf fans the ones that mostly complain over getting the hand-me-downs they massively upvoted in the first place. And that IS hilarious.
The most noticeable Velf fan upset is Fen,and he´s quite polite while at it. I think he deserved a better threatment than to get his race customization options hijacked in favor of pure Helfer copy/pasted stuff.
Also I don´t get why people gets offended when I point out the Velves got stuff in the core racial pass (sorry NOT sorry, that´s a fact proved even by an official post thread in these very forums), ergo Belves could get easy low effort stuff like one eye color (that already exist on the game files, just not available for the playable characters), one skin color (same as eye color) and a toggle for TWO haircuts done as soon as possible. I think that is fair, and if making regular skins available for Velves was “no big deal” on the core pass, making accesible ONE eye color, ONE skin color and a toggle for TWO haircuts should be “no big deal” either this time around.
Entitlement would be to tell us that those low effort petitions are a “big deal”, ffs. The peak of hypocrisy.
I love Fen, just saying, I’m sure most people already knew that but he really is such a wonderful and lovely person and I hope he eventually gets all of the void customizations he wants for Void Elves. 
I’d stop trying with Mag tbh, she’s been at it since VE inception to basically try and make sure they can’t get High Elven customization at all, ever.
They’re reason for wanting ‘farstrider tats’ is only so BE only can have em so they can keep (failingly) trying to lord over what BEs have over what VEs don’t.
They’ve failed at it though so far, so I’m more puzzled at why someone who’s been at it for 3-4 years to keep VE customization restricted thinks their attempts will have a meaningful chance now.
Remember, she’s aggro like this simply because I shared an artist’s art of Void Elf customization (who are clearly VE d/t the hair, facial hair, and even Alliance only armor tint they’re wearing).
