How would they no longer be tied to the August Celestials just because a druid order is also venerating them?
Why not?
Honestly I don’t really see why they would need to be against it. Group of Pandaren learn of Druidism from Night Elves and Tauren return to their homeland and end up working with the August Celestials to make their own order based around their same beliefs…
Balance seems to be a standard there…
Just because the August Celestials never channeled their power through the Pandaren this way before doesn’t mean they couldn’t if they were convinced to do so…
So yes. You are agreeing that they do not need a Wild God. Excellent.
So again the Pandaren and Vulpera would be excellent candidates as new druid races.
They’re great examples of one group of druids yes.
So again, why couldn’t the desert faring Vulpera be druids who actually support the desert around them? Much like how the Kul’tirans are about a different view of their form of Druidism. Or the Zandalari being more about venerating the Loa of Shapes. (Or Elune since the Lun’alai are a thing.)
Wouldn’t be a major stretch by any imagination.
But hes not the only place Druids of the Cenarion Circle get their power nor their connections to their forms.
Heck the entire thing with the Worgen Curse came from a different Wild God.
I’m not trolling. You’re just upset that you admitting that means you’re wrong.
You literally indicated that there are other ways to get druids.
You were the only person to bring it up. Furry or not they have connections.
(Given some of your other posts in some other threads its also kinda clear to me you might just be against “furries” in general and I think you might be projecting a little bit.)
And this is the stuff that makes me hate that for so long in wow druids were pretty much tied to the hip with Night Elves. Why would the Tauren feel the need to ‘fix’ the Barrens when other than centaurs/quillboars they were perfectly capable of thriving in that environment.
We need more druids representing different biomes. Night elves have their temperate forest, Zandalari kinda hit the tropical rain forest feel. Kt have The Wickerman covered. I’d love to see the Tauren taken a bit away from night elf forms. The lion is good for standard, but would like more savannah/plains stuff for them, would kinda love seeing tank form with a kodo option for Tauren rather than bear.
Because of you, because of me and because of countless others that we will continue to pay for less.
Blizz continues to put less and less effort into WoW each and every expansion and we, myself included, continue to eat it up.
I haven’t played retail in months. If I log into retail it’s only because a patch day reset my login settings and I didn’t see where I was logging into before it was to late. I have been a TBC:Classic monkey for months. I really wish Blizz would separate classic players from retail to give true player numbers so investors could see just how screwed up retail is.
Although non-canon now, Wildhammer Dwarf Druids existed in the Warcraft RPG. Blizzard has had no problem making things from the RPG canon, like Jaina’s brother Tandred.
Ion literally told us in BFA that Wildhammer Dwarves were too different from regular dwarves for them to be a simple customization option (even though canonically the dwarf shamans we have are wildhammer <_<) but they still did it, I assume because they realized a second dwarf allied race would probably go over badly lol.
I see the high elf thing to be middle ground as far as customization goes. For years people wanted high elves. In Legion when Alleria showed up people wanted high elves. When void elves were introduced people on the Alliance didn’t even like the void theme but had to deal with it. The void aesthetic to most that were requesting high elves for years is obnoxious, but is somewhat close to what has been desired for years. With these new options being added it is now THE closest thing available for people that would love to have that fantasy come true. Sure, there are people out there that’s fine with the void aesthetic, but they aren’t nearly as loud as the amount of people on these forums, multiple social media outlets and even YouTube that have demanded high elves for years and were demanding normal high elves options since void elves were introduced.
But, the one important thing to take from this throughout the years is that the only ones to blame for it is the ones who decided dividing one race between Horde and Alliance was a good idea.
