You seem to have cut off the rest of the quote there.
I qouted the relevant thing that I wanted to cover. The rest is on point.
I could say the same thing about blood elves. Numbers don’t matter Naughty. Female night elves have a lot of options, it is true, but for HB nelf fans like me, we don’t have the right options. I want to make a fancy highborne with jewelry and elegant hairstyles but i can’t. HB night elves and nightborne aren’t the same thing, even if they share the highborne theme,HB nelf options could be done to look different from what nightborne got. No one is asking blizzard to copy-paste nightborne options for night elves.
Then say it, I don’t care what you or anyone else says Night Elf players and specifically Night Elf female players are greedy and selfish and want to infringe on stuff that isn’t even for them, you don’t want to play the proper race for the proper options that’s on you not me.
The new Lightforged Draenei customization looks really good, great job from the artists however I don’t feel like this does much for the race in itself, which is a problem lightforged already have.
See, all the new stuff could’ve just been handed to Normal Draenei, no issue. Except maybe that random “Jaw” thing. We again run into the problem that nothing justifies lightforged as their own race.
The most unique thing they got was the broken horns and even that’s just counter intuitive. How come the normal draenei don’t have broken horns but the ones forged by the light do? I mean, having them is fine but it adds nothing to the race itself.
Why no new runes, why no new tattoos? why no more colours to these?
So what do I propose? Well here
First the obvious. New Runes and new Tattoo designs. These should be honestly expected. We have 6 runes and 3 tattoo designs that’s way too little.
These are features not found in normal draenei, these are “lightforged”.
Adding to that, give us
Options for the tattoo’s “shining intensity”. From the dim texture they have now to be truly radiant with the light.
But More importantly,
Colour Options for tattoos and runes
Lightforged are forged by the light, but the light is NOT golden alone, specially not for Draenei.
Draenei use the light through their faith in the Naaru, and Naaru come in all sorts of colours.
Look at this:

How come we have so many multicolour Naaru but LF are stuck with gold? it’s boring.
Instead we should have options to change the colours of our tattoos and runes. The colours should be:
Gold
Pink gold
Pink
Burgundy
Purple
Blue
Cyan
Silver
White
Light Gold
Besides that, I think it would be a good idea to have Options for different materials for Lightforged horns.
Lightforged horns could be Metal, Crystal and Naaru-like
Here’s a quick texture edit to illustrate the idea.

(Of course, this is just a quick edit here, but an artist actually working on it would make it look better).
Finally, please
Bring Back the female’s old number 7 face.
It was such a good face, but was just removed in BFA, why?

I think these options would elevate the fantasy of the race, because as it stands their new customization options, while quite good, don’t make a compelling case for being a “lightforged” thing.
Greedy and selfish? It’s a video game o.o you are being rude with no reason. You can disagree with me and i respect your opinion, but you are being offensive. I feel sorry for you. You are clearly being affected by these elf customization topics.
Yes, greedy and selfish.
If you feel this way feel free not to ever reply to me again, I assure you, I won’t miss you.
And I don’t need you to feel sorry for me, I feel sorry for you because you currently have the second most character customizations in the whole game and it’s still not enough so what does that say about you and people like you.
I agree night elf customizations are not enough. Specially to fulfill the Highborne subrace that they did get in Cataclysm.
"There is absolutely nothing wrong with someone requesting for more
customization. Simply because their particular race already has a large
amount of options doesn't mean they are no longer permitted to continue
requesting for more. Everyone has the right to request for more, that
doesn't mean those same people are trying to harm others. Very few
people are simultaneously requesting for more while also denying more
for other races. The real problem is when people are denying the
customization requests of others for the sake of their own, that is
truly greedy and selfish."
All_Races_Deserve_More
To be fair, Night Elves look like rejected character designs for a game nobody wanted to play in the first place. The women look like men and the men don’t come even close to the original artworks. They don’t have a heritage armor, no good storyline and Malfurion/Tyrande look more like characters someone wants to play as the other way around.
Speaking of which, I think for lfd, and by extension forsaken, they stand to benefit from the concept of model toggles of other races that could join the ranks as they are too very holy light focused.
I’m going to have to disagree, especially after model updates, added customizations, etc. not to mention they are one of the top played races on Alliance so clearly lots of people besides me like them so.
Okay first off, I get that no one likes my hands.
Lets be honest.
But the rest of this is just rude. >:[
(Fenelon btw.)
Lol, I have always liked that character, I mean sure you are an exception because you aren’t a Blood Elf male, Human male or Void Elf male character but it’s the idea, that character is just fine.
I don’t think this is a good idea. Draenei are the race that’s closest to the light and LF is an special evolution for them. Turalyon, the main paladin, needed hundreds of years to be able to go through the ritual and even then he didn’t change that much.
Forsaken are the humans from lordaeron and other humans who died nearby not just any undead.
A lot of people love nelves for their WC3 lore, doesn’t change the fact their models are bad, They got all the classic vanilla mistakes.
They are also super popular because Demon Hunters and druids.
Otherwise alliance has the option to play worgen…which had terribad models until recently and males are still super hunched or Kul’tirans…which…yeah.
Nelf models are just bad.
Even Blizz knows it, this is why both Ysera and Maiev were actually Thalassian elves with their first unique models (that’s why Maiev wears full armor instead of having her face and ears visible like in WC3.)
I personally really enjoy what night elves got, especially their hair styles. As for their lore…
… there’s a reason why mine has very little connections to the alliance and opts to go to my neutral guild, back when I played. Of course the state of the Horde has been meh to me for years as well, so my Horde characters are also neutral in the guild, opting to fight for Azeroth rather than the faction war.
I like how night elves look but don’t know enough about highborne to comment. I always thought that was a nightborne aesthetic but true fans would know.
You are entitled to think this, I like them, I have even went on the record in multiple posts saying I would take the actual Night Elf model in place of the current playable Nightborne model if they didn’t want to remake it or give the NPC one so.
I mean yeah one can like them. But that doesn’t change the weird proportions, stiff animations, lack of male faces, etc…
They do have some good ones. Specially from the Shadowlands batch.
Nightborne have their own aesthetic that evolved through years of isolation.
That’s the same on both Nightborne and Night Elves, it’s just one looks by far better and has by far better customizations and the other doesn’t, plus one has playable males where the other is either play female or don’t play it at all unless you want to look like an old cranky man yelling at someone to get off your lawn.
Yeah they have the same base rig after all, it’s a shame for them too, I do agree Nightborne look much better now with their new customization though.
