Why the lack of Customization?

What are you in about they got a ashy purple and half white half bubblegum pink ombre . There is nothing wrong with LFD hair colors . They are supposed to be light colors I’m surprised we even got th dark ashy purple .

I’m just saying that while I didn’t look too close or blow up the pic, that a lot of the hair colors are really similar. I know their thing is light, but eh, since it’s not a color wheel type system, my tastes would go towards more visual variety, that’s all.

They could defiantly use a dark color for skin/hair to show off all the shiny stuff.

Yeah, that obsidian skin image that’s been floating around is an awesome look for that.

i agree with this a bunch im disappointed with the skintones they have just like NB i cant see any of the tattoos :C

Character creator needs a darkmode. Those LFD tattoos really show in the dark. Nightborne is a lot easier to see like that too.

I think they just need to brighten up the Nightborne Tattoos at this point, or make it an option.

I’d definitely like Onyx skin for LFD too.

I’d also love a crimson red hair for more variety, like the darker red the Void Elves got. I also wouldn’t mind black hair,

I also would really love a violet tone of some sort too, in the same vein as the mint green we got. One of these violets here;

They did the gold colors so well, so if we don’t get onyx or violet, that’ll likely be the color I use.

Looks beautiful. Now if only they had some kind of aquatic skin. This race’s body figure could easily make for a great mermaid/deep sea reskin.

Aquatic races would be great. Horde could obviously get Gilblins. Jinyu seem most popular for the Alliance, but I’m not a big fan and am not sure what else there is, aside from Naga who I’m not sure about either.

Hey are you looking at/passing on feedback for Lightforged Draenei and Nightborne at all?

Doesn’t feel like you’re listening to or reacting to feedback/requests for Allied Races other than Void Elves right now.

There’s a feedback thread on the 9.1.5 additions in the PTR subsection for the Nightborne that I sincerely hope they’re looking at.

Feedback: Nightborne Customization

Some acknowledgment would be appreciated.

Notice how odd Draenei look without a tail… Worgen know this feeling. Which is why we are requesting the option of a tail in addition to other customization options for our core look.

It ain’t right.

Worgen should get tails with different lengths styles too :hugs:

Ill just be happy to see a check box that says tail. That way its optional for those who want it and those that don’t aren’t forced to have one.

Came back from the vacation and realized that this was a thing.

First and foremost:
Thank you very much! It’s been so long to recall a community manager who is actually looking over people’s feedback and giving the customizations that many people have asked for. I know it was originally Nightborne and Lightforged that were supposed to get customization and void elves ears as like the most minor thing. But you went through that much of the trouble to get the void elf and high elf fans to get the hair colors that they’ve been asking for to make their fantasy come true.

I’ve also would like to see the very future that there would be more customizations for Blood Elves and other Core races, as well as those other Allied Races that are lacking customizations so far. But I can see the future of customization becoming a better reality because of amazing CM like yourself.

I know some folks are not happy and they probably are upset that you made these decisions, but I think more customizations will happen soon once allied races are done.

The current changes seem to look very bright. Again, I thank you. It’s not hard to hear that much appreciation in current times within Blizzard department.

I mean I would agree, Void Elves when they came out had 4 out of 6 their skin tones just slightly diff shades. But look at it this way, and Nightborne are the perfect example:

NB came out with many white hair colors with diff tints and now at this customization pass they’ve gotten slightly more of those but also a decent chunk of very diff dark hair colors.

So it shows that Blizz were probably doing the tints for now and the more visual variety came later.

Would love to have an option that adds hair where the tentacle is supposed to be!

So coming back to this thread, I’ve had another thought about more outfits they could make accessible to players, in light of the reveal that Black ROok Armor, and Nightborne weapons were going to be transmog acquireable.

The Nightborne NPC’s outfits! There’s so many variations; maybe not all of them could be for transmog, but a decent amount of them could be, especially as they can cater to those who like skimpy outfits, and those who like more covering outfits! Especially considering, from what I remember of all the time I spent in Suramar, a few of the outfits looked like they were more or less the same outfit, but different dye, different details added/removed, almost like they were variations of a set of a few outfits. Pretty cool stuff! It’d be nice for Nightborne characters to have more outfits reminiscent of Suramar…

And hopefully over time there will be more outfits thematic to each playable race being made available somewhere down the line.
