Just put Bearhands on ignore. He’s a well known troll and is just trying to make you mald as badly as the guy who read your post on stream.
A good troll would make you upset with half truths, he isn’t even getting the half truth part and is literally just saying incorrect stuff making himself look like the dumb dumb haha. I’m more than happy to keep embarrassing him if that’s what he really wants.
It doesn’t really matter, who cares what he says and I’m just ribbing you but I mean… why lie? There’s literally a video.
Me when I read your posts…
Yeah I think they were (once again) just looking at the top end of the bracket for balance. Because there aren’t battlegroups anymore and everyone is in the same q, they probably were worried about the old tbc system pushing people above certain ratings, and they increased the requirements on gear because of this ‘inflation’ of ratings they are probably forseeing.
What they don’t realize is that these change to ‘keep people’s ratings down’ is directly impacting the majority of your players (the ‘bad’ players). This system may ‘work’ in retail where everyone gets pvp gear by just queing, or getting a ‘weekly chest’ because the bad players can still have opportunities for gear.
But in the tbc system where it is directly impacted by how many points you get per week, and what your rating is, a casual player can very easily be in a situation where they don’t get a single piece of arena gear for the whole season.
Ok now explain to me what he is complaining about. He is complaining because he thinks I said all participation is going down because of gear requirements. He then says “the only decent point he had was with the teams starting at 0, that is bad”. That’s literally my entire post lol. He thought I was just talking about requirements, I clearly said it’s the combination of both changes and the starting of teams starting at 0 is what is going to make casuals quit, his chat clearly repeated this over and over again because he was misreading this. He compared it to season 4 and his chat spammed “SEASON 4 DOESNT START A 0 RATING”.
You gotta get better with your trolls man.
I don’t have to argue with you on this. The video says it all.
And man… that’s just such a great clip. Hahaha
You are finally right for once
Exposed LOL
He doesn’t even make people mad or flag his posts en masse, what kinda troll is this? 2/7
So exposed lol
Oh wait I already linked it
i like the change, having some rewards gated was already in PvE also (ZA Bear), everyone was ok with that, whats the problem now haha
it’s not like pvp gear was cancelled, you still get it for honor from BGs
no one cares if this change makes 10 games leechers stop doing that, they were doing nothing except inflating the rating with their weekly 10 loses in a first place
Those ten game leechers are what let you pvpers get ranking in thr first place. Longer ques is no fun for anyone.
Yeah there are a lot of people out there that think because they got the duelist title they actually believe they are top 3% of players who actually sit and pvp all the time, no it’s the casuals that make the brackets so big that allows you to get that lol.
If the bracket doesn’t die from people leaving, you best bet there will be bots to take their place as well making this a crap show.
This even happened in classic lol. Bg participation went down, it got harder for people to get titles, you know what happened?
And I’ve seen a ton more videos on this but I can’t find them atm. Those videos of lvl one bots taking off and flying into the nether, those are bots to increase the honor system becasue so few people were participating and it was near impossible to get titles.
Maybe the bot situation won’t be as bad becasue you have to actually have a level 70 to do this, but this is the reason why those bots existed, because so few people participated after awhile that people exploited the system to get what they need.
You know what’s hilarious? I was on a crap battlegroup and in season 4 since participation plummeted I got a duelist title at a rank of 1650. lol 1650 duelist
This change will result in the following:
-
Long queues because casuals and <2k players won’t want to grind 0-1500 every time they switch teams and rating requirements for gear.
-
Harder ranking, especially the the top because of low participation.
-
Low pop servers will die even more and big pop servers will get even more bloated as people migrate to where they can find groups.
-
Casual Warriors and Rets will have an huge advantage over other casuals since they will get their BiS PVP weapon (Stunherald) without needing 2K rating.
I think Blizzard forgot that for casuals at low rank, it takes months to get the weapon because you need a total Arena points earned over a season. Moreover, the S2 weapon looks the exact same as the S1 weapon, so as soon as S2 starts, everyone will have the same weapon appearance, eliminating the “prestige” look Blizz is going for.
The system Blizzard is proposing is NEW and UNTESTED, being a combination of retail (zero rating) and TBC (teams). TBC:C Arena is basically yet another live beta test we are paying to take part in. They should either stick to the TBC system or just go straight retail, but not this abomination of two systems that has never been vetted or tested.
Emberstorm when it was added? That one got memed on a lot.
Not quite that bad, it was US- Whirlwind
its really hard to view these changes and anything other than intentional sabotage of TBC pvp.
they probably don’t want to dilute retail pvp (because tbc/wrath days were infinitely better combat wise).
its sickening though… you have to grind out 2200 to buy shoulders?
blizzard is digging its own grave.
No part of the game should give you “free epics”, that is bad game design that devalues the sense of achievement from reaching goals and accomplishments in the game.
How are they free?
This is such an insane change. Arena will be dead VERY quickly after the season starts. I love to PvP but I don’t love it enough to grind to 2050. I like playing with my friends, regardless of skill level.
This actually almost killed all my hype for TBC.
