Why so many flags?

cancel culture - if you say anything the snowflakes don’t agree with, they try to cancel you as fast as they can because no one is allowed to say anything nor have an opinion other than what the idiot brainless masses believe

its a particular group of miserables who abuse the crap out of the flag because they cant cope with adult discourse and they keep doing it because the policies of this joke forum encourage their behavior.

Technically any Druid capable of wielding the Scythe of Elune compels you XD.

spam is ONE person posting the exact same thing over and over to disrupt.
Spam is NOT another person coming in and making a new thread or post on the same topic.

You’ll get some of the clowns calling what you do ‘spam’ but they do that so they can feel justifed in their ABUSE of the flag

i like that these posts about flags always get flagged.

warms my heart

Even after I (we) have undergone the balancing ceremony? It would be amusing to run into a naughty druid trying to do that…and instead, I take the scythe from them with their hands still attached.

A lot of “off topic” posts in this thread guys!

Get to work!

now that I have got to see lol

I dont just get flags for making innocuous comments, I get reported, deleted and 24 hrs silences. Especially when its the truth that people just cant acknowledge.

The balancing ceremony is an extension of the Scythe and Elune’s power, so ESPECIALLY after the ceremony. Bear in mind the Scythe of Elune, despite its name, is also a portion of Goldrinn’s power in equal parts.

The larger part of the Worgen feral state is just Elune and Goldrinn’s powers fighting for full control, the ceremony sort of just nudges the conflict in Elune’s favor.

This is what I think people may not see, I’m sure I’m breaking the rules here, but for clarity…

Something as a laugh perhaps someone flags you, or multiple do for possibly no real reason you get “punished”. Which I believe would only anger the poster and cause them to distance them selves from the forum/community. Then over time we’re left with just those kind of people on the forums.

It’s already been established that the tos is subjective so it’s a toss up on if it’s actionable or not

Edit: disenfranchised was the word I was looking for

Your OP didn’t break any rules.

Someone told me once you can’t speak on prior flags so, since that pertains to this flag I don’t know if or how it applies. Kind of a loop hole paradox

Well, your OP didn’t link anything specific or talk about a specific report, sanction, etc.

It was pretty general. So that’s not against the CoC.

THAT is what happens to these kinds of forms where the rules are vague as hell and so VERY abusable by any mod using his own biases to discern what is and isnt “inappropriate” or “trolling”…both of which have no concrete meaning…at all…they can be ANYTHING lmao

Ive seen forums with over 30 THOUSAND members…and about a dozen who had posted in the last year. lmao.
I joined one some years back. Talking about golf.
Immediately someone didnt like some detail about MY golf game, started foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog and then a bunch of them piled in to put me in my place.
EVERYONES golf game is different. NO ONE has the same swing.
But if YOUR method was just a bit different than theirs theyd pack in on you like mongrel hounds out for blood. lmao.

THAT is why 30000 members werent posting there. Dead forum.

And IF blizzard allows this forum to keep doing what its doing, Id expect that it’ll never see more than .000001% of the base in here posting…IF that.

Yeah I agree. Flagging isn’t moderation it’s closer to vigilantism. People just feel like they’ve been deputized to act as community moderators.

i think it’s more like a soft protest since there’s no downvote.
they should bring those back maybe.

not having a downvote is just asking for flag abuse.
It was stupid not to include it in the forum in the first place.

I’ve been saying since day one of this forum that it should have been a report system and not a flag.

It should also specifically warn people as to what happens for false flagging.
