i’ve always liked sylvie, thrall, jaina, etc the best. until jaina lost her mind and now calls me horde scum. forget you jaina. -.- i’ve always been an orc with undead sympathies and until recently felt like the best lore was forsaken lore. they’re really doing a number on it though and idk what to think anymore. i’ve never been for the “old” horde much though. i was alliance that had mostly horde alts that sympathized with sylvie and didn’t care much for trolls etc. most of my horde toons are orcs and taurens though.
No, it isn’t. Orcs once took orders from demons, until the demons’ nature and betrayal became evident. Elves once took orders from Humans, until the Humans’ nature and betrayal became evident.
…Ehhh, no. Blood Elves are trying to kill the Humans and their allies. Void Elves are not Blood Elves in much the same way that Lightbound Orcs are not Mag’har Orcs.
Creating false dichotomies is fun, but you don’t seem to be very good at it.
I love the forsaken lore. An almost no time do I feel as a forsaken that I am part of the Horde, or that we share the same values. when you look at how garosh treats Sylvanas thru the leveling zones, your not thinking - one big happy family.
End of Legion with Sylvy becoming warchief felt like a “we really belong”, they accept us, one of our own is on top…
Then she goes off and basically spits on everything the Horde stand for.
When I’m on my undead - I love it. Very hard to support her as an orc, tauren or troll though - for me anyway.
OP is right, there is really nothing the Horde can do to make up for the genocide of the Night Elves. We won’t forgive, and I really can’t imagine what would make us even consider it. I want to see Orgrimmar and Silvermoon BURN.
Saurfang and the Horde (…minus the Forsaken) accompany the Mag’har back to Draenor, exterminate Yrel and the Naaru-sucking Lightborne, and take our real homeworld back.
This is more like xenophobic racism than any good qualities Thrall had when he started the Horde. There’s no ‘founding member’ cult except maybe in your head.
I like the game itself, as I said on a post up there that you missed. I am just not emotionally invested in the lore/game anymore. I play it as “just a game”.
