11 can be fixed by turning it into a cauterize like affect. That is essentially what it is trying to be without actually being a cauterize.

A few more things you missed, Icefury absolutely sucks and ridiculously over complicates the ele ST rotation. If you cast it with a mote stack you lose overall dmg, if you get to many lvb procs during the window you waste icefury charges. This should just be a passive given to frost shock, literally change nothing else about the talent (still requires 3 points 1 class 2 spec) and it would be a dramatic QOL improvement especially for newer players.

Earthquake simply exists as a spender and is the number 2 reason (pun intended, but also behind our lack of survivability) why ele shaman will never be meta. This needs to be reworked to either attach to a mob or put a dot on the targets affected for the duration, ground affects are simply not viable with the current m+ system. Yes other classes have similar affects, but these are not their primary dmg dealing spenders.

Ascendance sucks in its current iteration, to the point that its not feasible to run the hard cast version and you only want to spend 1 point in it because we have a single point left over. This used to be our main dmg window akin to pally wings, the fact its only a 15 second buff and requires 3-5 gcd’s of setup before pressing the button is just bonkers. Pally’s literally just press wings and spit out divine storms for 30 seconds. I’m not saying it should be exactly like wings but the lack of power equivalence for a capstone talent vs a baseline buff seems absurd.

Maybe make earthquake do 3 massive hits with the first being a guarante knock down and the last doing the most damage. And give it old anim since its only on screen for 4 seconds or so at that point :slight_smile:

No Dev interaction or communication

So far by FAR the least amount of dev work on alpha. Released Totemic with 90% of the talents NYI. Next Alpha build comes out and Shaman in general is entirely skipped, while Warlock/Mage/Monk are on iteration 60.

Its not even a meme anymore. Its not funny. Just wish we had some support from the team.

So long story short shaman is just showing its age/not getting any updates to be on par with the other classes that do get em.

Which god I wish this class will get some much needed attention once warlocks and DKs are done, lot of stuff needing to be updated for this class

While its not really a major ones, a lot of our visuals kinda suck.

I hate that us Tauren still use the original vanilla totems, while there are higher resolution versions as doodads in the game.

Also, give us more ghost wolf and feral spirit alternatives, something like wargs, ravasaurs, bears, etc.

And finally fix up the ascendance model, as a tauren ele, I hate having a chance of turning into post wrath Bolvar every time i throw a lava burst. Having us turn clear with fire/water/lightning effects would be great, ala combustion similarities. Or overlay an elemental on us like Dathea from VotI does. Or heck, just make the “burnt rock” version of shaman have models for each other race/gender.

If ascendance is gonna be visually updated it better be similar to Dathea in the incarnates raid

Don’t forget every other class gets access to weapon oils, while our weapon imbues overwrite it.

Customizable Ghost Wolf Forms for us like Druids have and our Elementals should be able to be changed like warlock pets and how they are customizable.

Icefury needs to be removed or baked into frost shock because it plays like crap.

Elemental Blast hit like a wet noodle and doesn’t feel like a spender at all.

Want to keep aesthetics out of this this and keep it mechanical issues.

Icyfury was just added to the list before this, but I can add Ele blast as well.

The shaman class tree if you take away the talents or nodes that have anything to do with totems which are generally not used except in niche situations unlike other classes that actually use their class tree, we have maybe a 1/4th of a class tree. We do not use totems anymore and our class tree is useless now.

I believe that is covered in #9. The essence of your point not the specifics. I find Totems very useful, but different content we are doing most likely. :slight_smile: Any other suggestions?

Not really the class tree isn’t pvp talents, but the entire class tree is horrible. Totems are great when they actually did something and we had our own bar for them. The current iteration of totems are niche utility that are so underwhelming that every other class has something better.

If the suggestion is to move PvP talents to The class and spec trees, that would mean they replace things in those spots. I guess unless they just added them. But that’s why I say its the essence of your point. The class tree is rough it would be bettter if these talents were there instead.

What about Earthquake being a targeted spell like the Shadow Priest AOE Spell they just announced this past week? that would be a huge QOL for Ele shammy

For Ele liquid magma totem is very important

For Resto, totems are used for throughput constantly.

For Enhance, Windfury totem sucks and is annoying but it’s still a thing.

And yeah in PvP tons of totems are used. Not to mention M+ where cap totem is pog and poison cleansing is great for certain scenarios.

Yeah I would be lost without all my totems in PvP they own. Earthgrab, Grounding, Tremor, Poison Cleanse, Capacitor (especially if I am playing Static Field Totem), and healing stream is the best by far. That thing blasts out healing!

Man those problems are all legit problems… I usually expect some exaggeration but 99% of them I agree with :+1::+1:

Current Ele build doesn’t play with LMT at all- But for PVE Elemental doesn’t drop totems really and Resto uses them for their big CD’s.

PVP sure totems are great but to take up an entire class tree for niche or pvp nodes is insane. M+ there are only a FEW totems that is used and those could be baked into the shaman toolkit baseline.

Also a solution for the Ankh thing, Just turn it into a self rez or a battle rez either we can use it when we die (same effect as a regular Brez) or if needed could be used on another play however if used on ourselves it regens faster and doesn’t count against the amount of brez used for the combat.

I do think that is a unique idea, but I think it doesn’t solve the issues. The brez mechanic would be nice but I think having a cheat death mechanic (the posted solution) is a much stronger option that does solve the issue. Deff can get way more value out of a cheat death mechanic vs a more accessable 20% HP self rez. Especially if you can keep your buffs. There are also some mechanics in PvE that do extra things if it kills a player, which would further punish the self rez idea more than it already does.
