Why not give Casuals high lvl gear?

Time, effort, and skill invested = earned.

Are you the same type of person who constantly whines about wealthy people like doctors making far more money than you do, but ignore the fact that they spend 8 years or more in college to get there?

I know right. But that’s changing next patch.

Having the opinion that people should do the content that gives the rewards they want isn’t keeping them down, it’s encouraging them to rise up.

Nope. Its “you play MY WAY or you get nothing”. Meanwhile all we are asking for is “ANY OTHER WAY AT ALL TO PLAY.”

You’re still going to significantly outgear world content in that gear. It’s impossible to fail those quests.

I can’t believe that people are complaining about full epics and a legendary without ever having to do organized content.

Your character is 233 ilevel. If you aren’t doing heroic raids or pushing m+, then what could you possibly need the higher ilevel for?

233 is fine for all open world content.

You should really get your envy and entitlement under control. You will never progress unless you accept personal responsibility.

Once again ignoring completely the fact that without something to strive for, there is literally no point in playing.

As to envy, i do not envy you. I pity the extremists. Their ego is tied to their pixels.

Entitlement? You dont even know the meaning of the word.

I mean as is right now. I can do 15s now and it will outgear anything I’ma get in Zereth Mortis. If I am lucky enough to fill alll 17/18 slots minus the legendary.

Wow, so much anger.

Why do you not just find a raiding guild so you have something to strive for? They’re all recruiting right now.

Or you could just do m+ and push yourself.

I have multiple characters in the 240+ ilevel range. It really isn’t hard. Just invest the time.

Why do you push content people dislike? Do you not get that “play my way or your a scrub” is the worst attitude there is?

Neither is denying the player who kills frogs because they don’t or can’t reach Mythic Sylvanas.

That’s going to happen either way in the next expansion. 66 quests will start giving out higher ilvl loot then previous stuff like that.

Nah, you get better than normal raid level loot for logging in daily and bopping around doing 30 minutes of quests. Seems fair IMO.

I never called anyone a scrub because they don’t enjoy semi-competitive content like m+ or raiding.

Looking through your history on this topic, you said that you didn’t like m+ because you don’t want to be the reason a group fails or doesn’t beat the timer.

That says all there needs to be said about your attitude. You’re afraid of failure but your ego can’t handle it and your laziness can’t overcome it.

The frog killer isn’t being denied anything, the frog killer is given frog killer rewards. To expect a player doing to hardest content in the game to be scaled down to the player doing some of the most trivial content in the game is a horrible idea.

Everyone has a gear ceiling. When you hit it, head to an alt or take a break.

This sums up a lot of the posters on the forum who believe they deserve amazing rewards for trivial content.

No, I said that RPGs traditionally have some form of reward progression to them, but you seem to want to invalidate the progression altogether and just get the best rewards for doing easy content. Thankfully Blizzard seems to agree that to get better rewards you need to do progressively more challenging content.

You’re playing a game that’s always been heavily skewed towards needing group content to advance, and you’re mad about it not offering great single player progression? What sense does that make?

Challenging content does already. And they have exclusive non-power rewards to boot. But locking power rewards too? That is stagnating the game. The game is always fun in the last patch because we are at most poweful. Locking all that stuff for people that only like doing group content? Really you think that’s good for the game?
