Why not give Casuals high lvl gear?

OR they should crack down on boosting, win/win

I don’t see in that quote from me where I said “You don’t need it”

I asked “Why do raiders need raid gear for world content?”

Simple question that is answering a ton. Just the way quite a few of you in here are acting shows just one of the reasons people are leaving the game and new people won’t come to play it.

Wow has issues. Bad players crying about gear has never been a reason for people leaving.

The design should not change. In this type of game mode solo gear should never be rewarded thats higher ilvl group content period.

The gear granted from Korthia is more than enough gear progression. They already get normal raid loot which is too high in my opinion and they still complain.

I literally never even said that, Try working on your reading comprehension.

The majority of the playerbase should not be penalized because solo players dont want to play the entire game.

I could care less about if someone gets gear or not. I only asked a simple question and because a few people here are on angry defense mode, they started putting words into their head to go with my quote.

Because high level gear is earned by doing the content. A coin reward system for doing braindead trivial content is a terrible idea.

Bad players really just need to stop claiming to be casual.

Preach brother! This is 100% correct

They only removed dailies and reputation high level gear because the elitist complained that it was “mandatory” for them to do all their chores. They complained until blizzard locked all the high level loot in raid only and made the game for raid-loggers.

Why you here lying bro?

Dailies and high rep rewards are still in game…

Citation?

You really dont know what you are talking about.

Well, as much as we hate to admit it at times, WoW is basically a Skinner’s Box, and threads like these are just a natural consequence of human psychology and the current design; the pellets stopped flowing and the hamster has no incentive to keep running on it’s wheel nor interest in heading over to the box with all the flashing lights or other unappealing qualities.

This is especially true in the latter months of content patches where solo players find themselves maxed out in their chosen avenue of content and funneled into group content or basically quit that character or game until the next patch. No one likes being told how to play a game when it’s supposed to be about fun.

Personally, I can’t bear the rep grind required for the Korithia content especially when I know I can step into a M+ group and get a set 233 gear most likely within the week.

By the time someone manages to grind the rep for solo content granting hypothetical 246 gear, I’d probably be on alt number 3 and nearing the end of the content patch so I honestly don’t care because it has absolutely no bearing on me; I’d probably never interact with said solo players anyways based on the premise of separate lanes of content. If you are worried about low skill players somehow muddying the queues, well the rating system already makes that easy to exclude such players.

the solo players are the majority.

Removal of warfoging and titanforging happened because the elitist complained about casual getting loot undeserved, but also because they had to farm EVERYTHING for a maximum chance at the best rng loot.

I don’t need to cite anything, I was there when it happened and you can research it.

Casual had a solution already.

Thats the penalty of playing solo. Its literally what they asked for throughout 9.0 and 9.0.5.

I find it hard to believe anyone would intentionally ask to be limited in their sense of progression and the current state of things is not a justification for it’s continuation; that’s just a cop-out.

Warforging/Titanforging was universally hated my the majority of the playerbase.

Dailies and high rep rewards are STILL in the game and people still have to do them.

Literally the entire length of 9.0 and 9.0.5 Solo players asked for better gear rewards and stated they didnt care if there was a long grind. There were multiple threads of them.

Blizz gives them what they want, then its still not enough.

Current state of what? This game rewards solo players more now than it ever has.

I think the issue is that is stops at 233. It’s a long grind and somehow they managed to get to the end of it, but there’s still 3+ months to the next content patch, what to do now?

do you have actual proof of these numbers or are you just making them up? enquiring minds want to know
