I’m not trolling, this is a genuine question: Why do you NEED your sexuality represented in WoW? I’m content not knowing what a character likes to do with their genitals one way or another; I don’t NEED to see that any characters are overtly cis and heterosexual.
It’s not a problem to me personally that characters are being introduced as LGBT, but I can say with certainty that the way to normalize it is not to shove it into works of fiction where sexuality has no need to be mentioned in the first place. That will only create resentment towards your community from the people who feel like it’s being forced upon them.
Simple answer i want someone like me that i can relate to lmao.
Straight people are shown all the time? The heck? You want to show grey blobs who reproduce asexually or something? Straight people shove themselves down everyone’s throat? Does that sound stupid, cause it does to me.
Is being LGBT your only character trait? You can’t relate to a character for any other reason?

Never said that putting words in my mouth. Its far more relateable for a bi person to be with someone struggling and having the same issues at me. I have been hurled slurs at me just for being who i am.

You answered your own question. 99% of the time we know a character’s sexuality it’s because they produced a child that is relevant. Very rarely do Blizz needlessly mention that characters are just dating or something.
