It matters because LGBTQ community doesn’t get represented enough and only now we are finally getting represented. It is a good thing that blizzard is doing although it should have been done much sooner in wow. All i can say is thank you.
Then blizzard will have no problems at all asking china if they can add lgbt then.

That is what i was going to ask next. A lot of people don’t realize but blizzard will censor the representation on gay couple in wow with how Chinese Policy is. Which is disheartening but this is good first step they are taking here.

Your mistake is looking to corporations for your morality. I think you can figure it out without their guidance. If you are concerned about the behavior of corporations, that’s why we have governments… to enact laws that control the behavior of corporations.
They aren’t hypocrites, they consistently do whatever maximizes profits. Same as all corporations. Being mad about that is like being mad that a lion kills a gazelle. It’s just what it does.

Yes and take that from the timeline gay people were now just being represented when it was legalized to being gay to now. That’s pretty good progress.

There are two aspects to this. There is a small kernel of truth in that a homosexual character is rarely the lead or part of the main cast. This deserves addressing because a non-straight person’s story is as valid as a straight one’s. But that’s where it stops.
Unfortunately, some very unstable, immature people have latched on to this kernel of truth and made it their crusade, elevating it in importance over every other aspect of one’s being, and life itself. These people are unremarkable in every way, but society tells them they are special because of their orientation. So they draw this tremendous sense of superiority from it and fight at every turn to protect their newfound privilege.
