I got disowned, threatened, and all that delicious malice and hate from some of mine.
I’m thankful so many of us, kind of like you Puré, are of the faith because those with an ounce of religious faith condemned them and told them until they lose their hateful attitude, they are not welcome in family gatherings.
Two years ago, they apologized and we’ve been back to the way we were ever since.
Not even the madness of 2020 has changed that.

I feel the pain I’m working 12 hours come home to do home repairs and maybe sleep 4 hours
i’m bored though with no friends to talk too. This is pretty much the sum of my social interaction with others in my dull night shift life.

I know right? I recently came from a Pokemon sword and shield tournament and it was kind of huge, we all had masks of course but nobody ever mentioned politics. Not one.
There was a lot of trash talking though, but it was more friendly banter and a lot of tactics being thrown around.
Yuck, those places are alright, I just don’t really like the layout of mmochamp and reddit for a forum discussion setting for some reason.

My mother believes i should be on medication because she believes i have difficulties with social interactions. I’m just blunt and logical, I do find it hard to sugarcoat and talk with someone that is fragile due to my bluntness. I’m just not fake and i’ll be honest with you all day and night. You will never have to doubt my will or intent because thats the kind of person i am. But because i refused to follow her advice she started playing the victim card apologizing how she wasn’t a good mother and all that in the beginning of my birthday just because of all that.

Plenty has, but it has less to do with LGBT and more to do with the people making the content, and pandering to it.

For the love of a that’s good and holy Puré, don’t take medications, I’ve been down that road having autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, and it nearly destroyed my life.
Good on you for rejecting that! There are some things that isn’t cured by jacking you up with all kinds of crazy chemicals in your system.

I doubt there is even medication for that anyways. There are things like anxiety, but simply being blunt with how you say things isn’t even a mental condition as far as I’m aware. Does she just not want you to have a personality?
Due to having aspergers she believes many faults and personality traits she disagree with is all at the fault of aspergers. She believes medication will fix all of it. I been down that road and it caused many health related issues as well as developmental issues in my life. But at 18 i refused to take anymore and was willing to go to the extremes as living out on the streets if i had too of course it didn’t come to that.
Well I’m sorry you had to go through that. No one should have to.
