I thought they were in a relationship (past tense). I didn’t play Warcraft 3 either so I never think about her and Arthas.
I do read quest text in ESO - because their quests are very good. And I can tell you that they do have LBGTQ characters. There is one I helped in the first zone quest line I completed. She and the girlfriend she had me save (from her own poor choices) are still arguing where I left them in that zone.
I guess it’s more of a WoW quest issue to me. But there are definitely MMO’s out there already with this implemented.

I agree they deserve representation as well.
Being stuffed into the whole LGBT group pisses me off. I’m sorry but the community did itself NO favor with the wild parties in the 70 and studio 54 and the Riots these gave the community a bad reputation and made being LGBT a laughing stock and joke.
I know I lived thru it.
Saw on the news, listened to it on the radio stations.
Now you all want to be represented in everything. I’m sorry the world DOES not revolve around you and you need to accept that. How about asking for more Mental health help for those that really need it. The LGBT group has the highest suicide rates in the US and no one is even asking for that. NO, I just want my 5 minutes of glory in some game that will be gone one day and no one will remember.

The point is. Straight relationships is such a norm we don’t ever give them a second glance. Whether it’s well written or poorly written it’s just there.
This is why no matter how they do LGBT representation it’s going to blow up. Someone is going to notice the LGBT person and scream FoRcEd RePrEsEnTaTiOn.

I’ve seen no complaints in the ESO crowd. Honestly, I’m not even 100% sure the characters I’m talking about in ESO are lbgt, I just assumed they are by how they interact with each other. I think there is a way to do it so people don’t feel it is shoved down their throats or it’s obnoxious.
Just because you lack the observation skills top noticed who is in a relationship doesn’t mean they don’t exist. you are not the standard here. There are voice overs between allaria that mention their relationship. Either you’re dense or a troll. Which is it?

Many of us hate this crap many of my gay LGBT friends and co workers feel so ashamed by how the whole thing has FAILED the over all community.
all these Young people crying and whining KNOW nothing of what went on before and just assume everything was discrimination Yes there was issues and problems and most of the time the community policed itself trying to show it was not a den of sexual thinking but a caring and working community that just wanted to be accepted and respected. i can honestly say many of my Hetro friends hate the LGBT group as they will be the first to admit it’s been crammed down everyone neck forcefully. Undoing the hard work that went before. Many of the LGBT group that are around my age don’t want to be labeled with the group and like me avoid the gathering and gay parades cause it’s not doing anything to get people to accept us. I remember a friend saying you can’t change history over night, and if you keep trying it will backfire.

well you keep brining up ESO like it’s okay for them to have LGBT rep but not WoW. Why can’t WoW have any?
and what about the rest who are NOT represented? do we shoe horn them in as well? WOW is a world game and has done good so far avoid politics.
Cause ESO worked that in from start of the game, WOW was way before ESO and had a FIXED story unlike ESO what you do in ESO affects how people react with you afterwards.
Because it doesn’t need any.
