I believe the representation Blizzard is already giving in WoW is sufficient to acknowledge the cause. Asking for more obvious things is unnecessary and might bring more harm than good.
The OP is waving a flag in the hopes that it might bring sentiment around to putting more obvious things in the game. I think that is unnecessary.
There is nothing disingenuous about my opinion; it simply is what it is.

Asking for representation is trendy now and most do it either to concern troll(also trendy) or just to get attention that they crave.
Would be nice to get these kinds of threads removed as they get absolutely nothing done.

This is the type of stuff that’s really important.
Screw class balance, Screw bugs, screw fun in general.
The LGBTQ 
+ needs more representation in games! Why should games be fun.
In fact why not go deeper let’s get really deep. Each time you log into the game there should be a 1 hour unskipable video that plays telling people about inclusion and acceptance of everything except white people.
Then there can be another 45minute video that plays before every Mythic+ that details about all of their struggles in life. Like this type of stuff is important so we need to really drill it into peoples heads.
Then have a mail a day sent to each character about an NPC and their gender and pronouns and stuff like that because we NEED THIS!
I also think they need to add in a required pronouns to character creation and if someone doesn’t use your correct pronouns it should be an instant perma ban because that is disrespectful, hurtful, harmful, hate speech.
In short.
Screw off with your bullcrap. This is a game it needs to be fun keep your political bullcrap out of it. I don’t give a damn if Anduin is gay or straight.
I want a fun game. That’s it, screw you.

You know what I’m saying, Blizzard won’t let anyone name a guild that for the same reason nobody would have a guild named “The New Black Panther Party” or “The Tiki Torchers” I’m not sure why you and the other LGBTQ WoW champs are mad at me for pointing out facts, like I said get mad at Blizzard 
They want representation so they can ask for more representation and when this game is unfun, they’ll leave and go to another game to ask the same thing.
Never ending cycle and doesn’t change much other than appeal to a small population of gamers.
