Whatever go ahead and get that LGBTQ guild started and see how long Blizzard DOESNT let it last Get mad at me if you want
But not this thread. Asking for lgbt characters in main roles is a far cry from asking for blatant stereotypes.
I kinda sounds like your misinterpreting the ops proposition.
There are plenty of lgbt guilds on Wyrmrest Accord, my alt is in one of them.
The more of these threads I see the less I agree.
Idk how to explain this properly but hopefully this clairfies it.
When companies try to create a LGBT character its so 1 dimensional and filled with stereotypes while also bringing it up in conversation like every scene. it makes me feel like the company is trying to gain social cred or woke points.
Let me give an example of a great LGBT character.
Minor spoilers for cyberpunk 2077

You see how it was just slipped in there right? not janky, not brought up directly upon first meeting. its smooth… its just normal.
That is one of the most beautiful things I’ve read in a long time, and I could use such a positive sentiment after this horrible past year.
Is it named the “LGBTQ Guild”?
Shifting the goal posts I see.
“main role” in what way?
How are Flynn and Shaw not in “main roles”?
Having a main character be gay as part of their makeup is fine. Having them be gay JUST to be gay is not necessary.
Demanding a “gay zone” or a “gay quest” or an “official in game gay event” is not necessary.
That’s the kind of thing many of these threads are asking for.
Exactly HOW MUCH “representation” does the OP need to see in WoW to be satisfied? Is what they have already included not enough?
I mean you tell me;
Can you name a series, game, or move that has an openly gay protagonist?
And if the answer is no then it’s not enough.
do they have to be the main protag?
or can they just be a protag?
So, if being gay is not the defining aspect of the character, it’s not enough?
If so then I disagree. I don’t care if a character is gay or not. Rubbing my face in it for the sake of representation is not necessary.
Oh and series, game or movie? Brokeback Mountain comes to mind.
No I just said main protagonist who is gay, not only characteristic.
Openly does not mean loud, it just means not hiding their sexuality. Like the vast majority of straight protagonists.
Do you count like us the player character? or does it have to be a protag written by the writers?
Protag written by writers.
Isn’t TLOU2 broad gay
No, learn reading comprehension youngster. Your on the ropes in your argument bringing things into the convo that wasn’t said and making unintelligent assumptions to make your point valid. Getting on here disagreeing with ppl isn’t going to convince Blizzard to put your LGBTQ characters in the game, so you can keep sending your arguments and insults to the air. All I said was to basically keep separation between real world and a fantasy world because as you can see by most of the responses (if you actually read them) most ppls disagreeing response has nothing to do with hate. If anything your the biggest haters on this thread:man_facepalming:t5:
The two characters in Ardenweald would seem to fit that requirement already. They are involved in a main covenant story questline.
Still not enough?
whats your definition of protaganist?
just to clairfy completely.
last of us 2 comes to mind. even tho i really didnt like it, the game itself did it pretty well
did you read my reply btw? i talked about a great example of LGBT character
They are not the main characters.
You guys have to know you’re being disingenuous right?
