Why isnt there a greater outcry?!

In fairness, an era server would take absolutely 0 people away from Cataclysm.

It might make people who aren’t currently interested in Cataclysm play it occasionally at least though, if for no other reason than for the communities they’ve been part of for the past 5 years.

Ok I’m glad you have an opinion that differs from reality but Blizzard decides at the end.

Depends - sort of. If Blizzard puts in paid option to transfer, you’re basically forced to play Wrath if you decide to go that route because you paid for it.

That’s kinda the thing about era servers though, you don’t have to pay for it, you have all the time in the world to start over and do your thing if you don’t wanna pay.

Ok. I don’t have the opinion that differs from reality. You are the one who has an opinion on permanent wrath classic servers that differs from reality rehmi lol.

Actually, the reality is there won’t be Wrath Era servers.

The reality is that, blizzard doesn’t have a definitive answer yet. So we all don’t even know. they stated that they don’t have plans for permanent wrath classic era servers at the moment. That isn’t a definitive no or yes.

They gave an answer. You just didn’t like it.

I mean it’s essentially saying no, you can hope that they change their mind in the next few months before Cataclysm comes but as soon as it does the chances of WotLK Era go from 1% down to 0.000001% but that number should go up with time.

People like mktaar want a transfer. They want to play their char until they die.

reality is: no Wrath servers.

They have: No and we are 4 months after the announcement. It is still no.

Back when they made era we were given a choice to stay behind or move to tbc with a paid option to do both.

If they did Wrath era that’d likely be the same.

But wouldn’t that be exactly the point I’m making?
This would actively hurt Cata participation (Not that it matters a lot to me cause Cata will be fine).
You either decide to go Wrath forever, or you have to pay to play both.
That would obviously change if Blizzard decides to give free transfers/copies to era realms, but lets be real, this won’t happen. It’s Blizzard.

I never called anyone anything, I like SOUNDS like sheep. That is what they do.

Yeah, I’m not calling anyone anything but that post SOUNDS like a moron. That’s the kind of logic they use.

Do you think TBC participation was hurt by the inclusion of vanilla era?

Partly sure. Many people regretted paying for the copy. The same happens in Wrath Era

So your assumption is that they regretting paying for the copy to TBC rather than the copy to era?

I would rather have both cata and wrath. I wasn’t really into bc or vanill as much. Hence why I didn’t pay for a vanilla era transfer. And we never got a bc era transfer anyways.
But I would pay for a cloning service for permanent wrath classic.

I honestly do regret not doing the discount clone though. They did it for 5 bucks for a while and then removed it. And now that we might not be getting permanent wrath classic. I find that annoying. But I didn’t even know about the vanilla classic clone discount until it was to late.

That they paid to have a copy on era.
