I’d argue that the “sense of progression” you get our should get from pvp is getting better at the game and the cosmetic unlocks that come with that.

That already occurs even in an environment where gear provides an advantage. Just do arena and fight against players who are of similar ilvl and climb the rating, there’s your sense of progression of getting better at the game.
Ones more noticeable than the other. The gear is noticeable in numbers. The other is a bit harder to gauge with a constantly changing meta that’s completely reliant on the developers.
Edit before someone forgets what I said earlier: Id prefer a scaling system that just boosts those of lower ilvl up to a minimum ilvl ceiling to allow them a better experience at gearing.

Even after she kicked you, and you went on your stupid rants, she explicitly asked everyone to not post any of the garbage you put in our discord to make fun of you, as it would scare people away from joining the Discord.
