Oh, sorry. Thats on you though for not understanding the difference between a “ROLE” ie: tank, healer dps and a “Class Specialization” like fury, arms or prot.
Don’t feel bad. Some of those words are really big and I can see why you got so easily confused.
Is there a way I could make the post clearer for people like you that do not understand the difference between a “role” and a “spec”? If you have a recommendation that is easier than using the term “role” over “spec”, please share it and I will edit it accordingly.
People use these terms interchangeably since this is a message board for a video game and not a doctoral thesis.
Someone as oh so smart as you should know that.

Tanks and healers are usually not nessesary in easy content like time walking, 5 geared DPS can clear that stuff significantly faster and if the majority of the people are down for it then there is nothing you can do besides leave yourself.

I’m in-game right now and in a party. When I right-click my name it gives me the option to “Choose ______”
What is it asking me to choose? I’m going to let you walk yourself through this since you seem to be incapable of saying, “Oh, you are right I am wrong and I made a mistake”.
They are not interchangeable - nobody uses them interchangeable. Not even the game uses them Interchangeable. The menu in-game is SPECIALIZATION AND TALENTS (N) hotkey. Its not "ROLE AND TALENTS.
Honestly, the fact you would even double down on this is mind blowing. You from the USA? I know you guys are incapable of admitting mistakes and apologizing but I dont understand the intellectual dishonestly from you. These are in-game terms that are static.
I want an option that just states “intentionally griefing” because I see some people join keys, cast 3 spells, then “dc” mysteriously.
It’s rare, but it happens.

After you’ve followed my concise instructions to walk yourself through you being wrong, go to the group finder after OK?
Unselect every checkmark and then, when the box is greyed out and says “FIND GROUP”, scroll over and please, type out the FIRST word that is says. Again, you will be doing this after scrolling over your SPECIALIZATION tab and noting that the term “role” does not appear once.
Let me know when you’ve got it understood and then you may come back and say you are sorry and got confused on the terms of the game.
For someone complaining about how something isn’t against the ToS, you sure like to flagrantly violate it, and the Social Contract, yourself.

As it is, this is just the “Ghostcrawler’s new MMO” waiting room. If I get banned, I’ll just join one of the over 10,000,000 players who have quit this game since its peak

Like a player using an ignorable swearword?
Swears have no impact on gameplay. A dude could sit there and be dropping N bombs the entire run and i’d rather be playing with them than the guy who refuses to play his role properly.
One of the two options I gave you is one right-click away from disappearing.
You’ll earn enough flags eventually, trust me.

While I don’t think this is a big issue either way and there are ways to deal with this, I guess I also wouldn’t mind if the game just locked you into your chosen role upon entering, kind of like you’re not allowed to switch specs or gear in M+. Let full premades or a team of 4 opt out of that and do whatever they want.
