Every timewalking I get the same situations happening. People playing druid, shaman or pally queue up for tank or healer roles and then just play as dps inside the dungeons. The only report options are for using ignorable chat but tehre is no ignore function for a player who refuses to play their role.
Is this because blizzard doesn’t employ human beings and they ONLY use an automated system?
Indeed. But if that player who is not queuing correctly for the role is causing a huge issue, then the whole party would surely be wanting to rectify the situation, no?
Thats great and all, I guess taking the 30 minute penalty is fair for me because another player decided they wanted the bonus queue and immediate access but dont actually want to fulfill the role.
Again though, you’ve responded three or four times - why have you not actually touched on my actual question?

Thats your post. That reads like it was posted from somebody who’s never played World of Warcraft before. The entire sentence as a whole makes zero sense if you’ve ever played this game and understand how the kick function works. You cannot kick in the first 5 mins, then you must have all 4 players agree to kick the player.
Meanwhile, there is no report option from Blizzard. Its not about being snippy, its about players like you who come into a post, contribute nothing, pretend you dont understand how the basic functions of the game work and then play stupid like this is the first time you’ve ever heard of this issue.
Can’t say I have experienced this. Is this really a thing that happens a lot? And 2 people declining the kick vote is a common occurence too, even if things go sideways?
I’ve complained about this for years, as a healer.
Nothings quite as fun as queueing into an overgeared dps as tank pulling the whole dungeon while 3 undergeared dps pull all the agro and die. And heals pulling more agro off the whole party.
I don’t have a problem with it if the group is strong enough, but that’s hit or miss in randoms.
I feel like queues should force the role and YOLO can go to the entrance. But then a tank drops and someone can re-spec, so that needs to be allowed somehow or your just standing around for 20 min.
Here you go. I’ve included some reading material for you. Since you’ve postd on the forums since BC but apparently never actually played the game in your life, there is some reading on the restrictions for kicking a player.
Sometimes this is an issue and Sometimes not. Depends a bunch on ilvl and skill variables among the team. I can carry heriocs though so it’s hard for me to notice.
I wouldn’t do it in a LFD or LFR.
Maybe in a premade. Definitely with consent and prior agreement from my team.
