right now, at this moment, i got nothing to complain about gold-wise.
the gathering brings good gold and the heroic raid boes sell.
not sure how long it’ll stay that way.
because blizzard wants more wow token revenue

I don’t buy this. In fact, after crafting items and leveling professions I’ve gained over a million gold so far this expansion, from lazy things like mining/herbing as I was leveling characters (and selling the mats), disenchanting on my warlock alt (and selling the dust/shards), etc. Add to that that limitations on token purchases (both directly imposed by Blizzard and indirectly imposed by financial constraints) and no, I don’t buy this.
That said, this expansion has done some things that are obnoxious economy-wise:
1.) They’ve made the entry herb/ore WAY TOO NECESSARY for EVERYTHING. I’m talking in the range of thousands of Bismuth ore for a single piece of gear. Since it still drops at the same rates as before, if anything, that encourages behavior like botting that I would hope Blizzard would want to be eliminating, not increasing. This also carries over into enchanting and leatherworking.
2.) Cloth. Basically atm the best way to farm cloth is to …be a miner. Not a tailor…a MINER.
3.) As you noted, things like Bran giving terrible gold (and in a similar note, races doing the same). It should never be the case that the current expansion has less gold generation opportunities than the expansion before. (Note I’m talking about generation, not obtaining. Just because I’ve obtained a million gold doesn’t mean I’ve generated it. In fact, I probably haven’t generated 10% of that, and the other 90%+ that I’ve obtained has been from other players that may have generated that over months or years.)

Ive been making tens of thousands every day just by selling my prof gatheirng materials that i acquire while doing other stuff.
Im sorry that Brann isnt tossing you buckets of Gold.
I have to hard disagree with you because I know you are full of it.
I have three herbalists, an enchanter, a tailor, and a scribe.
Selling just raw mats nets me maybe 35k at max per character per day and thats after usually a solid 4 hours of path farming and stopping to fish every so often, and then capping it off with an hour of focused fishing.
Still maxes out at 35-40k a day. You have not made a million by just selling mats.
Uh, I’m making tons of gold right now, and I’m just going through my daily motions, not really trying at all. I list random ore, herbs, and mats on the AH, but I don’t “play” the AH. I sell gear I’ve replaced with better. I do my bountifuls and WQs along with the special assignment WQs when they pop. Not sure what game you’re playing, but I’m making 15-20k gold per day just playing the game, and I’ve never done that well because I never make it a focus.
You can claim I’m “full of it” all you want: all I know is that’s what I’ve done, and I’m a million gold richer now than I was when pre-release landed. I happen to know this in particular because I’ve been sticking the money in my warbank to unlock the last tab (which I’m getting close to).
I check the prices daily just for the heck of it. Never bought a token, but the prices jumped 60k gold from 1 day to the next. Was around 188k gold on Sunday to 248k gold Monday.
There are replacements though, if you keep an eye out plenty of 800 gold rewards are popping up for world quests and they’re usually pretty easy.
Now someone told me the gold reward was warbound for them and after the first toon the rest got gear? But when I do then I am getting gold on all 17 toon, so if the travel time isn’t bad that’s a quick 14k
Hey blizzard. You cant have professions be fun or interesting as long as the WoW token exists

at the beginning of this expansion I put all my gold but 1k on every character into the warbank… Every single one that went from 70-80 has between 50k-100k just from doing that and selling what I don’t need. The DK I do delves on is making gold just doing that… You have to be actively trying to not make gold if you are not making gold…

My gathering character made 200k gold last week… Just do stuff…
Especially when Enchants cost upwards of 16-20k EACH. It’s so bad right now.

Going from 70-80 got you 50k to 100k. Yeah over exaggerate some more and also be oblivious to the actual issue with gold making 'cause ''muh gathering can get me 20-40 k but i’ll just times it by 2 'cause it makes my point more relevant…" 
Man this player base OVER EXAGGERATES ALOT.
Didn’t over exaggerate a thing. Every single character I leveled from 70-80 made that amount and the gather makes 200k or so a week flying around the first zone.
I’ll offer a life lesson just because YOU fail at something and YOU don’t understand a concept doesn’t mean others don’t and won’t do it better than you. A you issue is rarely a population issue 
Transmog costs are making me go broke. Cost me almost 1k last night to transmog my whole kit.
blizz wants your $$$ , there are many of us that have not paid a real money sub for yrs ( i dont waste gold i just use it to pay the sub ) , i just bought another 4 game time tokens when the prices dropped after launch - giving another 4 free months )
Do some Delves, Brann gives you like 4g and gets all excited.

I make almost 80k a day between delves, world quests, farming mats, and running old content for mogs and mounts. I make just over 2M a month. If gold is not pouring into your pockets, you are not doing enough content.
