Why is buffing various classes ok, but adding RDF isn't?

I mean . This . 100% agree.
The catchup gear is nice, but they could’ve just added all the phase 1 raid gear to the heroism vendor … Bam same end result .

I think I’m done with forums on my phone … can’t edit a post to actually reply to someone, double posts. Yeeesh… and apparently there is a daily limit on how many times you can delete posts :rofl::rofl:

Yeah, I’m still with what they originally announced classic would be. As accurate a recreation of the original game as possible, warts and all. Pretty much no changes and none of these retail additions they made to wrath.

Exactly right, save the changes for Season of Mastery.

Agreed . The whole reason for heroic + was ‘to keep 5 man’s relevant’ .

5 man’s were always relevant for alts, heirloom grinds … etc . They just wanted to give the raid loggers something to do, to keep subs rolling . 100%

Yep. In OG we spammed heroics for badges, DE mats, ect.

On another note, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a potentially volatile official forum discussion actually result in common ground . Appreciate you folks .

Im sure 3 overgeared dps eating permafrost would be much better.

And that you could do aswell with RDF.

“its a fact, that my imaginary worst case scenarios would come true, i cant quantify or verify it, but it will be a thing”

“My imagination is running wild now, maybe im projecting my own social behaviour ?”

I mean i did not want to do this originally, but since your horse seems to be so very high that you constantly talk down to the imaginary people you carry through with your amazing heals: Dude. You. Are. A. Bad. Healer.
The person most people wouldn´t want is you, based on your logs.

Its called enjoying your hobby. As in playing your character, you know ? Core gameplay loop - stuff people like to do in the game they play.
Even with the cursed Lfg i still que myself up for all HC+ dungeons quite often, without needing a single thing, just for the fun of doing the dungeons.
Would do the same with RDF, but more frequently.

For you, it is.

I can tell you why I would want that. Because
a) i dont care which one im running - im fine with every dungeon.
b) I like random stuff.

Ban warlocks, it gives people additional ways to get into a dungeon. Warlocks thin the player pool!

This guy gets it. Play the game and enjoy it!

First of all, in RDF heroic+ you are more likely to see people closer to the minimum requirement than you are to see people over gear it… Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to predict that.

Secondly, All of your nonsense about ‘my opinion’ blah blah blah .
How do you expect me to take it seriously, when you are also arguing based on YOUR own beliefs and opinions ?

Kettle . Pot .

Thirdly, damn near all of your rebuttals to quotes, are rooted in your own bias. Where as my argument is based on historical and current happenings (in the case of retail) the player base really isn’t that different when it comes to their desire for crushing the content with as little issue as possible.
It doesn’t take much to recall the toxicity in the original RDF system, when some people still struggled with heroics in 2009 and undergeared alts were very prevalent… Or retail for that matter :joy:

Fourthly, who have I talked down too?
Kettle . Pot.

Lastly - bring logs into it? :joy::joy::joy: I’m pretty satisfied with my blues and purples .
If you are intentionally chasing parses as a healer, you are probably heal sniping and causing unneeded stress on the other healers by pushing them to overhealing. And possibly even causing deaths as a result.

The way you’ve responded to everything with an aggressive overtone, attempts at diminishing intelligence, and self righteous ego in form of your vein and pathetic attempt at jabbing my performance.

“High horse” he says.

Kettle… Pot .

Projecting maybe ?

Comment on your main if you are going to try and bring logs and performance into the discussion.

Cheese and rice you are a waste of my energy.

You shilled the 58 boost and warp stalker mount back in TBC, you reap what you sow.

So changes that had no impact on game play and have been fairly standard.

Hypocrisy, that’s why.

That and lack of logic on the classic devs part… they’re clueless.

Lmao, OG players are busy socializing with their guilds on discord cause we know damned well not a soul socializes in a 5 man pug.

I just find it weird that they added Mythic’s but they can’t add a tool that helps newbies, alts and all to level. He focuses way too much on the end-game and literally nothing else to help others get to the endgame or any other part of the game.

Ion is really gonna tire people out with this hardcore nonsense he keeps pulling. Don’t go the Wildstar route.

Even Wildstar had an RDF system.

Team classic makes out from that lol. IT was SL that had some like me go from a tourist visa to permanent residence here in classic. DF didn’t reel me back in.

I go back a day every few weeks. And go yeah, no. By this time even in SL for a time scale to .7 with .1 coming I’d have at least 6 level caps. DF I have only the one 70.

Yea but RDF was only added after the original dev team began to leave. It was the new people coming in who put that feature in. The vast majority of players did not like that as it caused they to be no more chat in trade and general for people looking for groups. It was all done by a button. Zero social skills required. RDF was not something that the original dev team wanted to come in game.

The world best players I knew of in original Wrath never used RDF even once, only ever created own groups the old fashioned way.

Yeah, this didn’t happen.

So your entire premise is wrong.

No duh?

RDF isn’t intended for a split run culture.
