Why is Blizz driving away current customers?

And you accuse me of trolling. Read what I’m saying. IM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHOSE COMMUNITY ROLLED AN OVERPOPULATED SERVER. I told them I would rather play than not play, and started on Benediction. I found other people to play with. My IRL friends eventually came with so we could get that sweet sweet WC gear together.

yes, your 3 IRL friends are completely comparable to guilds and communities of over 100, 200, 300+.

You’re either trolling, or you completely lack basic comprehension skills and the ability to consider the thoughts and feelings of anyone who is not yourself. Pick one.

Same here! I rerolled from grob and convinced my friends to follow me. No more queues and we’re having a blast!

Yep. That reply was intended for a different post. My bad. I’m on a poor mobile connection.

how is it horribly inconvenient leaving behind a level 1 character ?
If you can’t play (which is the claim) then you should not be over level 1.
It makes no sense that people are saying 'wahhh I can’t log in and play but don’t want to start over as I have a level 30+ character" … suck it up buttercup and reroll.

And she says we’re the trolls :expressionless:

You’ll meet amazing people on your new realm too. That’s why vanilla is awesome. it sucks that you have to leave them behind, but at least you’ll get to play.

This all started when you made a poor analogy how picking a different server is like driving to a different gym 15 miles away because the one you wanted was full.

Clicking a new server takes a second. Maybe 3 if you need to use the scroll wheel to see it on the list.

It’s ok.

There were a lot of time we waited to log into our realms on classic (vanilla). Hence is why many of us had alts on rp and rppvp realms. We would go hang out there when we couldn’t get in. It it was a raid night we started logging in super early. There are plenty of servers that have less people. Blizz provided many servers. SPREAD OUT! if you are unhappy with queues

Not another one of these posts again…

While they didn’t start with enough servers, over the first couple of days they did add several new ones and suggested players go to those servers to start new characters since the original servers were overloaded.

If you didn’t follow that advice and instead waited in queue despite knowing those servers were full…well… That’s on you. They offered other options with more servers to get you into playing Classic sooner.

I reserved names on Pagle. Day 1 & 2 had queues of 8000+. Created new toon on a new server and went straight into the action. My problem was solved easily enough since I moved to another server they set up due to demand. Imagine that.

TLDR: Blizzard set up new servers, players decided to wait in queue anyways. You can lead a dehydrated horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

Your insane strawman attempt is duly noted, as is your complete and utter non-comprehension that we are speaking of entire guilds of varied level and time committed players and friends lists, rather than individual L1 players in a vacuum.

You do realize that the queues were not instantaneous upon server creation, right? Players got in on day 1 prior to servers filling up, and put in a lot of hours fighting for levels. I myself put about 12 hours in on day one on my priest, and then the server became full and I faced queues from there on out.

Except the above, which is a situation a lot of people are in.

I cannot help but note you are still posting on a L120 character. Would be a bit easier to take you seriously if you were actually posting on a classic character of substantial levels (and not like the others in here on L10 characters just to be able to post as legit classic players and not retail trolls.

Yep. I’d rather have a close community of people who pay attention and care about each other than a 300+ friend list of LEET gamers who won’t notice if I’m gone. Introverts vs extroverts I guess. It does suck that large guilds are losing people who can’t get on to servers. It also is something that was very clearly communicated to the population as a possibility. Launch day there were no good servers. Any guild that based their entire future based on how things played out launch day don’t plan very well. Blizzard told us they were opening more servers as needed. Blizzard told us a few of the initial servers were cripplingly overpopulated. If your guild didn’t take any of that into consideration and just said screw it were going whitemain nomatter what, I don’t have sympathy for them experiencing the things they were told would happen if they did that.

They put their mistake on the players, which isnt the right thing to do. Yes, they offered additional servers but moving 100 people at the last second doesnt work as well as you think. PLus they never warned anyone about the Skeram and Incendius ques. I dont see why people on non que servers even care… ppl on the original launch EST PVP servers deserve some kind of solution since we were not offered a good option before decision were made and time was committed

I guess you guys are like the folks that go to the trendiest bars and restaurants and sit outside and wait all nite to get in, when you could just go down the street to the cafe and have pie.

Clearly your “friends” and guild are not missing you, or you’d all up a leave.

“How come Bob never shows up?” “He’s can’t get in until later and theres always a line” “Oh, well too bad for Bob.”

Yup.

Too bad for Bob.

Sorry, Bob.

If you love those 100 people let them go. If they truly love you they will come back to you.

That actually made me chuckle a bit. Much appreciated

but we are. If the forums are to be believed there are many that have not been able to play at all. If all those moved to other servers it would allow them to play.
If you are level 30+ then you have been playing and need to not be complaining.

Didn’t warn anyone about the queues? When you get to the server list, they list as “FULL” - How much more of a warning do you need? Loud sirens on the screen and flashing lights?

So what if people got to 30 in the first 3-4 days because they took some time off work. Now they have to go back to work and can’t wait in line. They havn’t been able to play their lvl 30 character for 4 days now. How does this fit into your horrible and completely idiotic premise?
