Finally, what this “experts” say, differ greatly from current observation. Athletes like Leonel Messi and Maradona, were able to be so good on football (soccer on merican); because their center of gravity is lower, thus being more able to dribble the ball.
Cleary tauren have shamans and monks and fury warriors, and sv hunters (that can already wear all rogue gear, poisobs, and camoflauge already.
Trying to bring physics into a gane it doesnt apply much in is silly.
And part of force is speed/velocity. The faster something moves the harder it hits. Anyone disillusioned that a irl person thats bulky wouldnt focus on the speed of there hits is under the wrong impression.
This is the type of logic of someone who cannot make a point and makes the rest of your post not worth reading because you have such a piss poor attitude.
Again, we know that canonically rogues use magic to become invisible (and if you want to argue that the Tauren shouldn’t have access to that magic, then alchemy can also do the exact same job). So being stealthy isn’t a problem.
We know that large fighters can also be extremely agile, as evidenced by the words of literal experts in the field, and the existence of the Pandaren, who are all quite large yet are some of the most agile fighters in all of Azeroth.
The only thing they’d need is the training. That training includes how to step quietly without making noise, and situational awareness. A gnome rogue for example, may know that he can hide in some tall grass and approach a target without being seen. A Pandaren rogue cannot make that same approach as the tall grass would be displaced by his size, meaning that anyone with a keen eye would spot where he is, even if they can’t see him directly. An Orc rogue may be able to stand on a roof made of wood and ceramic tile as long as they’re careful, while a Tauren rogue would know that can’t hold his weight and thus wouldn’t attempt to stand there.
All of that is training and knowledge, which any Tauren can learn from someone who is willing to teach.
And you said I was being nit-picky about what ‘realism’ to include and what not to. Now we’re doing per-species calcs as far as what weight limit a Rogue can operate at?
Why can a Tauren Rogue stealth? Because Rogues can stealth. That should be the end of the conversation. If you can’t get over seeing a big thing being sneaky, that’s not the problem of the Tauren Rogue.
Or explain the logic why a plate wearing Tauren being shrouded by a Rogue is fine, but learning to stealth themselves is somehow impossible due to their size.
I mean, if rogues are just “sneaky” the how does shroud exist?
Well, one would thing that all classes get prepared/trained as warriors on this time and age, maybe conscripts, or farmers, then they get recruited for the Kirin Tor or w/e, if they are magic adept.
If stealth wasn’t about sneaking, why do they get into a sneaking stance… and yes, a massive amount of magic would be required to make something that is not only 8+ feet tall but 600+ pounds, quiet and invisible… they gotta be at least Jaina level to keep that kinda magic up for a long period of time.
