Well, good luck to you! I know Marvel Rivals is looking pretty good atm. I’m enjoying real pvp, and not whatever this thing is in WoW. Kinda nice not to just get stunlocked for 5 seconds, and killed in 3.
WFR players have raid gear because they run split raids and funnel gear.
Theyre also doing their entire prog in 1-2 weeks. Gear is a larger factor toward success for people who arent literally the top 0.1%.
That doesn’t give you heroic track gear.
Is “forced” he new buzzword like toxic used to be?

I agree, I do not like being peer pressured into doing content I do not enjoy in order to continue in the content I do enjoy.
I enjoy raiding, I do not enjoy mythic plus.
This current situation is like if Blizzard made the best buff for mythic plus only be obtained from pet battles. Would mythic plus players be happy collecting pets?
The two end game features should not be so dependent.

I don’t do M+ and the game is way better that way.
M+ is a blight, but Blizzard won’t let it go as it’s the only thing those hardcores are looking forward to.

Or there were just never that many people interested in raiding in this game. This game has always been better off in the past whenever PUG raiding was at its most popular (like in Wrath), because a lot of people in this game just don’t like or can’t commit to the time commitment of raiding a few hours a night on a set schedule.
Being able to open up this game and do a dungeon for like ~30 mins or less in one sitting is extremely ideal for a huge portion of people that play this game.
The only thing “strangulating” raiding in this game is that it’s mostly played by adults with responsibilities who can no longer commit to raiding on a schedule.

The same thing will happen to it that inevitably happens to all Classic servers: the server dies because eventually you hit a progress wall where most people still playing are just raid logging and nothing else.

All of this is correct. So you either speed up your progress by getting additional gearing avenues, or you get better at the game. Most people who are competitive will do a combination of the two, only the top 0.1% focus primarily on being the best that they possibly can.
All of this is the point that I’m making: if you don’t want to do M+, then don’t do it! It’ll take longer to get the gear, but you can just not do it if you don’t want to. Nothing has changed in this regard.

Ye, and I think that’s a thing a lot of people aren’t a fan of. Stam/vers helps quite a bit but it’s mostly good movement and defensive usage, as well as coordinating stops which is very hard. 
So you’re telling me blizzard comes to your house and forces you to do Mythic plus?

Haven’t done any M+ and I have a 619 warrior and 613 Priest that will be 619 soon.
Only normal and heroic raiding for me along with delves.
In heroic raiding 619 is more than high enough. 606-610 is a good spot to start in heroic Nerub’ar.
You WANT higher ilvl gear. You are doing ZERO content that needs it.
Mythic raiding and M+ 10 and up are the ONLY players that NEED M+ gear 620+.
Just admit you are quitting because you feel entitled to gear you don’t need and haven’t earned.
Take the L and leave quietly.
Edit: my 619 warrior can solo Beledars shadow and any world elite besides the 300m health world bosses. You don’t NEED M+ gear.
How are you never getting a ring from Ansurek, but guaranteed to get everything you need from 10-20 dungeons?

In this instance “least resistance” is more in terms of how loot is acquired than whether or not the content is hard.
Once you do the raid, you’re cut off (on that character.)

You aren’t getting benched in normal / heroic because you aren’t doing keys. If you are, find a new guild. If you’re in a mythic guild then you are expected to do all things and you signed up for that.
nobody is forcing u to do mythic+ there r ppl out there who only do delves lol
Where is this loot piñata I’m supposed to be finding in keystones? You mean when I run Siege of Boralus for a week straight and the belt I want never drops? Then my vault offers me 3 items I can’t use? Show me this piñata 
The only loot piñata currently in the game is delves.
