Yes, and I’m sure the #1 top concern of those people is some losers on a forum site comparing the living conditions of a fictional fantasy race to theirs. /s
Literally all the Horde races are stuck in the most ravaged and resource-starved parts of Azeroth, except for the Highmountain Tauren who aren’t exactly sitting in the middle of any convenient trade routes.
Why do you think Thrall and Garrosh wouldn’t stop going after Ashenvale? The Night Elves are squatting on all the good stuff.
Well you can count in the blood elves, Nightborne and Goblins too. Their places actually look pleasant to be in. Orcs are a bad spot because Thrall is an idiot who let his people to poverty on purpose as a sort of penance for the original Horde.(I know it is bad but that was the original explanation)
More than half of Quel’thalas has been irreversibly corrupted.
Everything that was outside of Suramar’s bubble is a wasteland of ruins and rubble, you realize the entire zone was the city and the nice part was just what was protected right?
And nowhere goblins settle stays resource-rich for long
No, sorry. Just no. Horde has crappy cities. Not because of how they look. And no I’m not talking about mudhuts. They don’t even have mudhuts. Ogrimmar was built from stone at first and then coated with iron. And fraknly it would have been an awesome city if the layout didn’t suck so much.
But among the newest faction cities, Boralus and Zandalar, again the Alliance wins, cause Zandalar is a nightmare to navigate.
There are only two good cities across the factions and those are the Undercity and Ironforge. Well used to be, cause one is gone the other one sucks now that the Earthen showed up with their fancy high res buildings.
Also I wanted to add, Stormwind sucks. Bad. Especially since flying was enabled. It’s an offense to the eyes, unless you are one of those guys who can’t see colors. And God do I hate the portal room, which by itself looks awesome. But why the hell is it in a stupid tower dead smack in the middle of the city. The orcs were smarter. Their portal room, while more modest is by their city walls, so they can control traffic, making it sort of like an airport.
Sorry, not sorry, this mentality rly do. the horde theme, design and culture is all about monster races, tribal and shamanistic ways, kratokracy, honor and might
Vulpera are very close tied to this kind of thematic by being scavenger, nomads, they fit the thematic and lore of the faction and other races.
If you want to play a race by superfluous reasons you can, but eat the whole cake
That was the BE, like 18 years ago. Then it was Goblins, like 14 years ago. Then it was Nightborn like… 8ish years ago. Now they got Earthen. I think Horde is just permanently stuck in overly violent caveman mode, regardless of what happens or who joins them.
uhhh Caves are the original source of climate control. While y’all are tossing and turning at night in Stormwind, sweating, we’re all nice and cool in a cave.
Don’t really see what the issue is lol. I think you have been ready to fight people ever since you made this post, and don’t want to hear other peoples thoughts and opinions on the faction.
but i digress, i love the horde. Echo isles is my favorite place, it’s so aesthetic and on par with the troll vibe, which is why i like it, and why others like it. Orcs are brutish and headstrong and strong willed, they like their spikes, what can we say lol
They match the vibe pretty well, same with alliance races. Night elfs are very nature driven and use wood and worship spirits. Heck, they even put vines in their hair. Why can’t they evolve?
People like those factions for the aesthetics/lore. Let them continue to like it.
I think the point was that’s just the Nightborne not the rest of the Horde. It’s really fanny thinking that the Horde as a whole are wine connoisseurs and posh event attendees, But I think OP is seeing the Horde capital not very well representative of its members. I think the same can be said of Stormwind but that’s not talked about as much since human players seeing human city as normal.
I dunno, I’m going to stand my ground and say they probably don’t give a squirt about what a bunch of societal rejects halfway across the world who pay $15 a month to essentially work a second job are saying about them.
