I imagine you feel somewhat like how I do being told that I’m selfish, uncaring of others, and looking to inspire loot envy because I have certain thoughts on reward structures in one of my hobbies.
That was not direct to you, I apologize if you feel it was. I tried hard to not specify any group and kept it unspecific groups such as many people. Without actually assigning it as an attribute to a specific group. I’m genuinely sorry.
I did this because my goal here was not to make anyone feel under attack. I obviously failed at that. Currently thinking of how to edit it while conveying my emotion without making someone like yourself feel like it’s a directed attack. Unless me explaining my intent was good enough?

I understand it wasn’t directed at me personally, and I appreciate your explanation of your intent. I just feel like there is a lot of “us vs. them” going on right now in this forum, and we’d all be better served to avoid that in the interest of having fruitful discussion.

I agree, although It’s hard not to fall into that. I’m super guilty of it and I will own that. But I try hard to not be that way. I always slip though because I do have some bitterness. Us versus them is my default defensive position. When I feel too heavily under attack if I lose control of my calm I tend to resort to that. Probably because it makes me feel like I got a group to back me up. It’s not the greatest thing to do, but again. Human. It’s a weakness I’m not proud of.
Some bitterness is a good thing. Dark chocolate will always be better than milk chocolate.

It’s a grocery shop. I think it’s pretty exclusive to the southeastern US though so I’m not sure if he’d have one near him. Or her. Or… they? Idk whatever.

Yes, it’s a chain of grocery stores in the American South/South East. I used to shop there when I was in Atlanta for a time.

Idk if you like toffee at all, but they are Heath Bar cookies! Not gonna lie, they might be the best store bought cookies I’ve ever had in my life.

I’ve had them, and you know you can buy Heath Bar Bits to put into cookie dough to make them at home? Then you can eat them all! (There is a reason I am a round Gnome lol).

Having something that someone else does not have makes one special (in some people’s minds) and everyone wants to be special. It really is that simple.
This is why all content needs to be on a group finder/LFD type system. If people could gate keep heroics and LFR they would.
