Why does no one use the lfg system?

I look everyday and never see many people using it. Why?

Probably the same reason nobody used it in original TBC. LFG channel works fine, and that’s what people are used to.

I use both when I’m looking for a group. Can’t see why everyone wouldn’t.

I was using LFG Bulletin board but I read blizz was going to ban it since it functioned similarly to their own system. So I deleted it.

Pretty much this. LFG bulletin board is a popular addon as well.

I have no idea why people don’t use both. I use both because there is nobody on the LFG tool. Seriously, it is usually me and perhaps someone else on there. I’ve never seen more than 3 people looking for the same dungeon. I think over time more people will start to use it though. We should spam in LFG to use LFG!

Because the addon is better, yet again some random dude probably by himself, made a better LFG system than a AAA game studio

The original lfg tool in tbc wasn’t particularly well built.

The retail one is just frankly better in just about every way.

Had they ported the better functioning tool, it probably would have been used more. As it is, we got something below 3rd party addon level in terms of functionality.

Just like original TBC!

The common argument against cross realm LFD is that people don’t talk to each other.

However… not a word has been spoken in the last 5-10 dungeons my druid has healed lol.

People are so used to using the LFG channel, they are going to forget the other thing exists. I have tried using it to no avail.

Also people are spoiled with the retail edition, that is why they do not talk to each other in dungeon groups. That, and too many people are so toxic the nice ones are afraid of saying anything.

Because it’s worse the add on I’m already using for a number of reasons.

It’s mind boggling they didn’t just add the retail LFG Tool which would actually have been used.

Added way too late to the game. Should’ve been available day one on TBC. People are used to LFG text channel.

Maybe on very populated servers people start using because… LFG channel spam.
