Why does it take so long to get customer support ticket and no live chat phone call

A billion dollar company that lacks customer service. Open a ticket just to get an automated response that doesn’t answer any of your questions or address concerns.

Tickets take weeks+

No live chat no phone callback both been disabled all week.

As of Feb 2024, Blizzard estimated earning are: $74.28 Billion. Making Activision/Blizzard the 214th most valuable company.

What are you asking for from CS?

No, they do not. Currently they may be at a few days, but certainly not multiple weeks.

What is the issue that you’re having and maybe we can help to point you in the right direction?

You can’t help me. I would like to chat, call, whatever with a blizzard customer support rep. And not go back n forth for months through tickets.

And that is currently through tickets. Though as Perl mentioned and has been corroborated by SFAs, 48 hour response times maximum.

Since those options are not currently available, you’re welcome to share what it’s about and we can try and help. Otherwise, you’ll need to stick with tickets as there are no GMs on the forums.

For GM feedback, you’ll need to use the survey attached to the ticket once it’s marked resolved.

Thankfully, your hyperbole doesn’t make it a reality.

Is this about an account action? There isn’t anything to discuss, either file an appeal or wait for a response if you already did one.

Appeals are only handled by Web Ticket, and have been for the life of WoW, but most tickets now seem to be in the 1-2 day range, so right now you should not be waiting weeks unless you are responding to a no-reply email address.

No, most general tickets can take a few days, but others are taking less than a day in most cases. Appeals are in the few days category.

Just to note, Live Chat and the Callback option has never been available for an appeal.

Like the SFA just said live chat and call backs are not for appeals. Those are only handled via tickets.

my current in game ticket has a wait time of 4 days and 14 hours. when i put the ticket in 7 hours ago it said 4 days 7 hours. It has literally just added an hour every hour on the hour since ive placed the ticket.

4 days would be the oldest ticket in the que depending on the issue it could be sooner or later whats the ticket for and what category did u put it under.

That is an estimate based on the oldest ticket in the system. Not the specific turnaround time for your ticket. Also, please don’t hijack someone else’s thread. OP was posting in regards to their appeal. You’re looking for general in-game assistance. Best to create your own thread in the future. Also, you won’t get a response from Blizzard in the Bug Reports forum, since you were displeased that the older threads you necro’d had no Blue post. It’s one-way reporting.

Have you tried doing a UI reset to see if that solved your issue? Not just turning off your add-ons, but a full and proper reset.

Being to the point isn’t meant to be hostile. When people pile in on another person’s thread, that is usually the quickest way to get a thread derailed and locked. Even then, I still inquired if you tried to do the UI reset. That will likely be the first thing you’re asked when your ticket is responded to.

That the appearance is still showing as locked isn’t a wide-spread instance. There wasn’t even anyone on WoWhead bringing it up, so it may well be something just that simple will fix the issue for you.

That’s not a wait time, or a timer. It’s the age of the oldest ticket in queue.
