Right… So the HM Tauren has a different racial to the Tauren, does that mean both are different races? Or Kul Tiran Human have a different racial to the Humans, does that mean they’re different races? Or the LF Draenei have a different racial to the Draenei, does that mean they’re different races?

as someone who plays both factions: i don’t like void elves. why? cause they are’nt high elves.
don’t get me wrong, blood elves are high elves, and void elves are blood elves so by extension they’re high elves, but at the end of the day… it still says void elves when you choose to play’em.
also, their lore is a big stupid excuse to not give alliance high elves, even though they’ve technically had them since burning crusade.
also, they’re too scrawny, but i feel the same way about blood elves. their ladies arms are so tiny.
tl:dr, i don’t like velves cause their name, their lore, and their scrawniness.
but that’s just my opinion.

They didn’t remove any void-themed customization options so I don’t see what the difference is between what they did and what you do when you routinely make threads asking for playable half elves even though very few people are interested in the idea
I ask for multiple half races thank you, I also ask for model toggles for others. Nice try at a jab though.
second, void elves are still not high elves, and the high elves that choose to not use dangerous magics like void or mana tap would not think to become void elves. As such High elves becoming void elves are either the high elves that was most likely from dalaran whom never had to choose to use mana tap.
How ever, that doesn’t mean that half elves Aka a representative of a playable dalaran character shouldn’t be made and also bring something unique what the current races don’t do, as well as bring a new breed of rp into the game.
Anyways; when a player that plays as a void elf that looks like a high elf, they are not choosing a high elf that sided with alliance, they are choosing one that either ws from dalaran or one the high elves that did side with the horde like the ones in ratchet. This is because the high elves that would be alliance friendly rejected the use of mana-tap and in turn would refuse to indulge in the void. And remember the void transforms your body when you take it in yourself.
I’ve been seeing allot of people on here clamouring for void elf paladins. Please stop. We are now void beings, and are incapable of using the light internally like a paladin does. The very magic is destructive to void elves and within lore there isn’t even a single light user in our ranks.
No mechanics like holy priest/disc priest does not count.
Also class skins for it don’t do the class justice either, as both light and void has different properties and even will.
The closest I’d reconmend for that idea if you so want high elf paladins is ask for model toggles for the LFD.
