I neither love or hate Void Elves, I was however way more into them when they were first added with the whole darker elf side concept but what they have been diluted into currently isn’t really something I’m a fan of because that’s what my Blood Elf is for, perhaps if they ever get more of the void customizations like permanent glowy skintones and pink hair color, I’ll come to like them more again.
Fair enough, they need to redouble-down on the void customization.
But pink hair? How is that voidy?
Make it neon like you get at Hot Topic, it fits the whole darker emo thing.
I dunno if I think they are super emo though.
So long as void elves get more void customizations that amplify their purple, eldritch glory.
They legit have most things people who are emo have from hairstyles to hair colors and even stuff they say in emotes talk about being emo, for example one of my jokes as a female Void Elf says about no we don’t drink blood that’s the San’layn totally different emo elf.
I mean who hasn’t had this EXACT SAME THOUGHT CONVERSATION with themselves concerning Sylvanas?
Because High Elves belong to the Horde.
Its a stolen race from the Horde given to the Alliance.
High Elves have been on the Horde side longer then the franchise has existed now.
Those High Elves that call themselves Blood Elves now have earned their place in the Horde.
Void Elves are a generic copy and now they’ve even stolen more from Horde High Elves with updated customization appearances.
Alliance players head cannon is annoying.
And on and on why Horde players hate them.
A million times this.
Why are you guys pretending alliance high elves don’t exist? They existed before, during, and after blood elves. Seems a little sus to me.
Except the literal kingdom of the High Elves left the Alliance during Warcraft 2. You have scattered remnants, but Horde has the entire kingdom. Thus the claim belongs to the Horde as much as you Alliance players like to dismiss reality.
False, in fact. We had high elves, none playable but still Alliance tagged and would kill Horde.
The game did have named playable character. Like say Alleria.
You mean after Silvermoon quit the Alliance?
And? When people talk about high elves it is general in reference to the current high elves who have always remained high elves. Who dont care what their nation wanted/remained loyal to the Alliance for all this time.
Not to mention dev statements stressing how Alliance HEs were just not there in any significant numbers.
Which rules out the SC as being anything but a neutral group answering to neutral Dalaran.
So you admit you want the tiniest fraction of a race that otherwise collectively joined the Horde and has been playable for 15 years?
Exactly. Like they can’t get over the fact that Dalaran is neutral too. Everything belongs to the Alliance in their eyes.
If Lanesh is any indication of him possibly being a Scryer (look at his clothes they look like Scryer clothing but torn) I would be very interested to know if that means he is a Outland High Elf.
If so it could suggest that those HEs return home like Lanesh when they get a chance. Which makes sense Blood Elves are High Elves after all and the name is only to honor their fallen which arguably any HE returning from OL didn’t get a choice to make.
High Elves who haven’t taken the name integrating into BE society returning to their kin is a logical story tbh.
Because 90% of you have bad takes on everything and are super annoying.
I’ve read horror stories of some of their discord shenanigans here and there as well as the kind of people they seem to support. shudders
That’s still not the argument you think it is though.
If you didn’t label the Nightborne I genuinely wouldn’t know if it was a Nightborne or a Night elf.
All you’re pointing out is that Blizzard put more effort into making the Horde Allied Race.
That’s not a great argument.
