While I loved the surrender to madness or Icy Veins extension play-styles in Legion I’ve never been able to get behind Breath. Ostensibly it’s the same basic setup, but it just doesn’t ‘feel’ right to me.
I’m confused, they already do that?
Zzzz. Im sure its “definately not mad” posting, or else you would have actually stopped posting by now.
Why would I be mad?
You on the other hand seem a little upset. Probably should stop making things up and this wouldn’t happen to you.

So everyone who posts on these forums is mad? That makes ZERO sense.
Keep it up you’re making my original statement bulletproof at this rate.
I don’t like BoS because of its whack-a-mole playstyle as well as the fact that Blizzard has left it as Frost’s tutorial build meta talent for literally seven years now.
For me personally;
I wanna hugehit someone with my sharp icemagic on runeblades, menacing around with a tornado of blinding snow following me, Occasionally throw some massive chunks of ice at my enemy.
Not have them check out my minty fresh breath…
Direct your attention to the Shadowlands OP Cinematic for how well that’s going…

This is you but unironically.
Like the fact that you have continued to respond even a day after trying to e-flex with logs FROM TWO EXPACS AGO (which lets be real, no one cares about on an online forum) is the most pathetic possible.
As I said prior:
i feel like this thread is kinda done though. i got the answers to my question.
It seems neat in theory, the “how long can you keep this buff going” kinda like old void form, but i just dont like that type of gameplay.
10 second major DPS windows tho, love those (obliteration, fire mage)
Eh, bound to happen eventually.
i was just doing some of my first mythic+ runs and i can absolutely see why BoS can piss people off due to knockbacks and crap. it’s super annoying because you just can’t keep sindragosa up 9/10 times after that.
I kinda feel with venthyr in m+ BoS would be a blast this xpac
I think thats the meta, if Im not mistaken.
Im loving obliterate cleaves with Deaths Due
If the meta is that i dont wanna be right
We are death knights. Death. Knights. In what fantasy world do you imagine a death warrior clad in heavy plate armour with big swords spewing mist vomit as it’s main source of damage
And it doesn’t add complexity, your rotation literally reduces to just obliterating during the breath window
Oh and if you’re unlucky enough to get hit by a random mechanic during breath, and need to move, good luck to your dps
i think it’s really awesome. we are death knights, and our spec is frost, we are a mix between a frost mage, warrior and a necromancer. why shouldn’t frost magic be our main source of damage?
those were the first DKs. you n me are third gen so like you said a mix but mostly melee
Oh it’s far from meta
It’s powerful. But Death’s Due itself is kinda questionable at best for Frost.
