I want the wrath playstyle to return, but you dont see me complaining about it constantly. Its not a healthy thing to do dwelling on the past hoping it comes back around.
But thats not for any of us to judge, its back regardless.
The least that could be done is make it viable.
Is what you guys were asking for back? If it was why so many complaints? Its not back like it was, its not even close. You can use a 2h in a limited build with a focus on Obliterate that has a huge damage spectrum from really low to decent.
And what exactly do you mean as viable because its sounding more and more like viable means OP and not viable. This build is exactly what the loud vocal minority asked for. Everything they asked for they got and they were happy, until balancing time hit.
I think the people who are asking for it back, and those who would like to see it viable might be two different parties.
I know some people who willing will play it regardless of how it is.
But I think everyone who is apart of both…kind of are being funny.
For about a year I was saying implement it properly or else the complaints are just going to shift from “we dont have 2h” to “2h sucks”. And what is going on right now?
Just because we now have it, also doesnt mean it has to be bad either. I get what you are saying that some people would say they would play it regardless…but I wouldnt say that is the majority of people either.
It doesnt have to be bad, you are entirely correct on that, but its the fault of its implementation. You clealy cant just slap Might in to fix the issues, you cant then create a new rank for KM that makes it do frost damage, 2h having a focus on Obliterate which needs KM rank 2 regularly and reliably to do damage. Its nothing but a big grotesque band aid that is failing. It didnt work the first time I dont know why people thought it would work a 4th.

I litterally swap to Unholy whenever Breath is gutted
Its why i Enjoy DK because i like Frost BoS in the best Scenario and always like Unholy if BoS is gutted in a secondary scenario. Dont get me wrong i understand why your unhappy with the current state of 2hnd, but my first inclination is usually to provide an answer rather than a complaint.
I would generally say “you should really try Arms with Condemn while opining for some 2hnd Frost buffs” rather than just be miserable with the class/spec your playing in a game thats a hobby on the holidays. Its a more reasonable stance for me personnaly.
