Why Does Everyone Complain About Gear?

It really is hilarious that my raid finder, again RAID FINDER void stone is better in just about any situations than my 415 battlemasters or safeguard or any of the other trinkets.

Guys…

If pve gear wasn’t broken, then they wouldn’t have disabled it in the recent tournament. Enough said.

Disable all gear in scripted instanced pvp so you guys can just log on to paper rock scissors pvp

You literally lose damage by taking these PvE gear items they have less stats on them but more tankiness. Explain to me how the trident is going to be useful against RMPala where either you or your healer gets 1 shot in a setup b/c full kidney and Gpyro which does % based hp.

Also games already go into late dampening as is without the PvE gear because healers Healer output is too high

Look, I know I’m bad, I’m not Glad Exp (like you) and I know nothing about this game … but I must say, your post is one of the dumbest ones I’ve seen in a long time.

you’re even too dumb to write down three words properly btw

Sorry, I was too busy being right that I stopped caring about grammar.

But you’re wrong.

3 stacks of trident buff is already more mainstat than a weapon of the same ilvl (for example 415 polearm is 434 agil, 2 trident stacks is 436 agil, 3 is 654). The mainstat benefit ends up being a net gain when you’re taking any damage which is very significant.

As for prisim, usually you’ll take safeguard or battlemasters and prisim just has way more value than both of these by a very significant amount.

Otherwise just PvE stat optomization is way more reliable than PvP scenarios for just regular pieces anyways.

wow should just go to Overwatch style and gear disabled in PvP then nobody will cry

Or, alternatively, you could just go play Overwatch, if you don’t like the RPG-esque style of WoW, where you actually have to spend time getting gear.

That’s what templates were like, only based on ilevel but that was a band aid fix.

Real fix would be bringing back resil, vendors and either nerfing pve gear passives severely in pvp combat or disabling them.

You should have customization options but not in the sense that BiS in PvP is raid weapon from deathlord popo in nimbus castle.

Confirmed I am a monkey and got CoS AotC first day it dropped.

Its pretty clear that in arena at least, legion templates have been the best option yet. Neither pvp or pve players were boxed out of competing in arena.

How can anyone defend this crap? Rofl. So delusional.

Can we be friends, I speak Portuguese

PvE is what carries bad DKs to Glad in BFA.

We don’t need more of this. :woman_shrugging:

I feel like templates are only needed when vendors aren’t an option and PvE gear is immensely broken in PvP like it is now. If Blizzard isn’t going to bring vendors back I feel like templates, as much as I don’t like them, should be brought back and pve passives disabled.

Game is an MMO, I still want to customize my character accordingly. If I wanna run some troll builds should have option to, etc. Resilience was a good option, it made PvP gear strong in PvP and BiS but PvE gear was meh. Flip side, PvP gear was meh in PvE and PvE gear was strong in PvE. WoD PvP gear scaling also a decent option.

Either way, PvP and PvE gear sets should be BiS in their areas, PvE gear shouldn’t be BiS in PvP and vice versa. Could you imagine the amount of complaining there would be if there was a PvP piece at x rating that was BiS for PvE?

I just don’t think you be a fan of “competitive” pvp when gear is a factor. Its like giving one team access to hgh and the other one some chicken breasts

Haha fair, I’m old school so I liked BC/WoTLK’s system when it came to PvP gearing however I’d be ok with WoD’s system as well.

Just need vendors of some sort, else put templates back in.

Oh and, disable PvE passives like trident ty.
