Actually, nothing about any of the runes we have actually synergises with our original classic kit. They all exist as entirely standalone abilities.
Cs and Ds dont count as melee hits for proccing, so they wont trigger reckoning, and they dont trigger seals or wf.
If you’re running avenger’s shield over rebuke in pvp, you’re just meming, since for a competent team in wsg it just gets insta dispelled anyway, its only good for being annoying in wpvp.
So far, with everything weve seen in sod, im still probably gonna be going 33/18/0, ap ret will always be bad, but with cs and ds not scaling at all with spellpower, spellpower ret may as well be dead
Based on the data we have, there is no such thing as a daze category, since there are multiple abilities with the word “daze” in them, which do count as a slow, while the Dazed that every mob can do, which cannot be dispelled as a slow, is just one ability, not a category of abilities. This is not like fear vs horrify. For instance, concussive shot says it dazes an enemy, yet we can trinket and escape artist out of it.
If a gnome escape artists out of a shadow priests’ Mind Flay, the flay ends abruptly. This last example has no relevance I just thought it was interesting.
It always was a daze. The debuff it gives even said “dazed”. We doing revisionist history here now?
Just an FYI. Ironically the tool tip for the retail version of this ability is only a silence and interrupt.

Surprised paladins arent crying about also getting their Horn of Winter, they got everything else, the ability for them to divine storm insta kill cloth wearers in near full bis still amazes me. The class has the most insane tool kit that just removes any fun from trying to pvp against them, horde gets good tanks which have 0 pvp ability and paladins have near full immunity for 10 secs and a double health bar and can just 1 shot you

Its also a huge balance issue because paladins are the only ones who can reliably slow down druid flag runners from range in wsg. So alliance just has an enormous advantage in wsg, even more than they already did with paladins.
As i said, cs and ds do not proc effects, so it will not trigger reckoning stacks, those will only trigger on your white hits. Cs and ds are just filler that do not synergise with any baseline mechanics of paladin in the slightest.
A bit of mana regen, and some extra damage arent gonna suddenly fix the problems with paladin.

The ability for them to get off a range of attacks in such a short time which ferals can’t even do WITH WINDFURY, im not against viability but when things are so unbalanced, look at hunters being nerfed every day for example you cant deny.
Blizz SoD dev’s are just too in love with paladins as it doesn’t impact warcraft logs
You don’t need it to trigger reckoning stacks. In fact, you need it to fill in the space between them or tie to a reck bomb to guarantee a kill.
It also completely fills every single hole in those paladin specs.

Sounds like that’s more of an issue with the way Druid flag carrying works. It shouldn’t be unable to be countered in any way. Avenger’s Shield can be countered. Druid shifting can’t. Seems like Concussive Shot should work the same way Avenger’s Shield does.
Yeah it’s pretty unfortunate trying to peel an unpeelable plate class, that can also go invulnerable, from a permaslowed flag carrier.
