Why does avengers shield slow me if it doesnt count as a slow?

Shapeshifting also doesn’t remove “Movement impairing Effects” but can remove the hunters concussive shot.

It is simply a bug.

Major projection there. I came back to this game for two reasons. One was to play with my brother who still plays WoW, and the other was to play a Paladin that can actually fight things. I just like the idea of a holy knight class.

Also every time I see you post you’re complaining about Retribution Paladins. It’s really questionable behavior honestly.

So you are in support of all fear, terrify, and horrify effects being changed to one effect name and be able to clear those with say a fear break?

Sorry but you’re wrong. Unless they come up with some completely new abilities to give Paladins in later phases they basically have everything now that they’ll have at 60 except for Repentance. Paladins received the exact same amount of things as everyone else did.

Avenger’s Shield follows the rules of what dazes do and honestly Concussive Shot and Piercing Howl should function the same way as well.

Deathcoil is on it’s own DR, and you can trinket it. Apples to screaming oranges. D=

It is still essentially the same exact thing as a fear when used. Thank you for missing my point. Nice character name though! It’s oranges to slightly different colored oranges.

For all the people crying about Paladin being a dev pet class it’s one of the most well balanced classes in the game for what it does. It’s a capable damage dealer but not the best, and it has weaknesses and counters in PvP with it’s vulnerability to purges and dispels. as well as still being vulnerable to being kited too and operating on a finite resources that it can run out of. Paladin also has very little CC options in general with it’s only stun being on a minute long cooldown.

my point is, daze from paladins is bugged and you can’t trinket or remove it via abilities.

I have said several times I am in favor of a blanket CC PVP trinket, have you read the thread or only the reply you wanted to make a fruitless attempt at a gotcha to?

I am also however pointing out that this type of issue with somethings breaking CC and others only breaking certain types is a consistent Classic design choice and should be something looked at and potentially changed for a smoother experience.
Fear and the many synonym abilities are a great example.

If you think the value of the pally runes are less than or equal to literally any other class, you’re nuts.

Paladin received every single thing they could possibly want, by level 25. It is absurd

Lets all remember that if a paladin is running avengers shield, theyre NOT running rebuke, so just go ahead and hard cast heals right in their face.

If you cant heal, well… sucks to be you, just turn around and slow the paladin back and start fighting

Paladins aren’t even the best class in the game right now. You are huffing major copium after some Paladin clapped you in PvP, it’s so obvious.

I main pally in era. Took it to GM. I was a Glad pally in original Wrath.

Your toolkit will break the class at 60. Holy/reck and ret/reck with the new tools will be absolutely God like

It’s really not a hard concept to understand if you actually read what is being said and stop attempting underhanded comments and gotchas. You know, a real discourse.

The daze that mobs do is not a category of effects. There is no “daze effect category” or however you’d call it. It’s just one ability, called Dazed that pretty much every mob can do. It also dismounts players.

Does the Paladin shield dismount players? If not, then that would be further evidence that this is not an effect that is intended to work like the mob Dazed ability.

The bleed that the rogue rune Saber Slash was not being removed by abilities that remove bleeds, such as Dwarves’ Stoneskin. Then they recently patched the game so that Stoneskin can now remove this bleed, because this was an obvious oversight from adding a new rune to the game without taking all the considerations into account. I would suspect the same with the new Paladin rune; An ability that was added into classic, and they forgot to take into account abilities that remove slows.

That would make the most sense.
