Cant trinket avenger’s shield, since it doesnt count as a slow. Paladins are such a skill based class!
Why do people keep making threads to cry about this and to cry about Paladins?
Avenger’s Shield is fine. Paladins are fine. If you think otherwise you don’t know what you’re talking about and are not good at games.

ahh, the daze, very convenient that no trinket gets rid of it! I see now that I was wrong and an effect that slows you down that cant be trinketed is fair and balanced.
right but piercing howl and concussive shots are also dazes.
I mean, Paladin is unquestionably the slowest class with the least movement options among all of melee. Maybe the lvl 40 bracket will give them Divine Steed as a rune, and THEN they’ll fix Avenger’s Shield.
ahh yes, double health bar or 8 second invincibility AND double health bar, that definitely makes them deserving of a 10 second slow that doesnt count as a slow for some reason
But they’re not treated that way in game. Only paladin seems to have a real Daze mechanic while concussion and piercing howl play like a standard snare.

It’s a daze, which is different from a slow or snare. Just like a horrify effect is different from a fear effect which is different from a terrify effect. Despite all essentially doing the same thing in the end.

For what it’s worth, I can pvp trinket out of concussive shot, which is a daze.
Why don’t we just chalk this up as a bug that needs to be fixed, instead of gaslighting people so it won’t get fixed.
Concussive shot, a daze, can be removed with pvp trinket that removes slows.
the super smart devs programmed it as the same daze effect you get when a mob hits you from behind
so not even druid shapeshift works. sooo cool.

Unfortunately I really do not care to complain about the unbalanced game WoW classic is, both in SoD or in Era. I enjoy the game regardless for what it is. Consider doing the same if you would like.

Your sarcasm was about something else, variety. And I agree that these effects are all essentially the same, in the same way that every damaging move is basically the same in that they add a negative amount of health points to the target.
And yes, it would be nice if they had consistency based on what category they place different CC’s under. Like how fear immunity/removal does not work on horror (death coil).
Really hoping the blank expression emoji isn’t a catching trend. It does not do what people think it does and adds a level of unrequired pretentiousness to a post.
I post because this isn’t new information. Abilities have acted this way prior and to expect them to not behave the same in yet another Classic release based on Era is silly.

My sarcasm is that they felt it necessary’s to make multiple status effects with different names that do the same thing but aren’t affected by the same removal abilities, like fear/horrify. Similar to how snares and slows and dazes are all essentially the same status effect. I understand is reductive but it is also about breaking variety for the sake of it.
Some homogenization is necessary for a smoother game.
