I love playing alliance, but I have slowed down playing cus so many have quit or gone to horde. I hate horde way too much to ever play them, I’ve tried but its not for me. I rather just quit playing the game than to switch to horde. I’m just to loyal of a person to betray what I love to play
highest DPS race = Mechagnome.
I’m in the same boat, I even leveled a horde char nut I just can’t get into it. My biggest problems are finding a decent guild as well as finding groups to do content with.
One time, this guy on Grindr had Horde words in his profile. So I messaged him “For the Alliance!” We didn’t talk after that.
People be crazy.
All Blizzard needs to do is give extra loot to the faction that doesn’t dominate high end raid/pvp and see how people will siwtch.
I just wish they’d give us cross faction pve. That would help out a lot.
Yes and that’s an absolutely awful solution. But creating artificial imbalance like that is the only way to actually fix things.
Or, you know, just let both factions group together so they don’t have to break the game and the problem (mostly) goes away.
Are you trying to tell me you never made the Darnassus to Stormwind run without telling me you never made the Darnassus to Stormwind run?
Honestly it was brutal enough without Horde interference.
Yeah, home has a certain equity.
I play both.
I feel I get the most out of the game doing that.
Seeing both sides of the story each expansion is enjoyable.
Ironically this is the first xpac i don’t have the care to level my horde side through this time. The story just isn’t good enough to warrant it.
WoW players are out there. Just have to sort through all the normies to find them. Being cool helps too.
We don’t play to pretend that we are competing with top 10 or 100 like most horde players think they do competition
I didn’t like the people on Horde and I like the people I play with on Alliance. I don’t think Horde or Alliance are particularly indicative of what kind of person plays what faction but in my circumstances, the people I want to play with are Alliance.
I like the asethetic. I like the races. I like Blue over Red as a color. I played Horde for a long time myself but I’ve been happier being Alliance. I do miss it from time to time and go pop on an alt to see what’s going on with the blood elves or tauren but I just don’t particularly care for some servers Horde general populace. I’m sure there’s a lot of fine Hordies on my server or other servers, but enough bad experiences can really taint the experience.
Not everyone is a fan boi reroller. Stormrage, sargeras, frostmourne are all very alliance dominated & highly populated with tons of rank 1 players/high end game guilds. Much of your information is absurdly incorrect.
It is true there are more horde characters than alliance, there’s no denying that, however; I found playing horde the guilds die out quite quickly and people jump ship way to easily hopping from one horde guild to the next. While my alliance character is in a thriving alliance guild, we do keys every week for years and we just achieved ATOC SoD and now we’re onto mythic raiding.
Looks at OP’s name… looks at post and giggles at silly bait thread.
Problem is to a part the racials (Orcs and Trolls) and other one the mentality of the developers. In most content the Horde clears much faster, especially in the casual content, like seasonal instanced events.
I’ve never enjoyed playing Horde. I don’t like the aesthetic and it doesn’t vibe with me whatsoever. Plus everything that comes from hordeside, be it community or lore, just makes me want to stay alliance more.
The two factions have VASTLY different communities, imo. The amount of horde players and guilds I’ve run across that have issue with alliance players existing at all is astounding. Ones that purposely do anything they can in game and out to cause them issues. There was one in particular on my old server who loved trying to crash out Stormwind (zone disruption) and achieved it a couple times. One “server crasher” discord I found myself in one time was the most toxic thing I’ve ever seen.
Whats the difference in playing either faction if you dont pvp and play casually? The only real difference is liking the look of one faction more than the other and alliance cities and characters certainly look better than horde ones.
That racial thing falls in line with what I said, that being most of the actual imbalance between the factions occurs only at the very top levels of the game. Most players are not at the very top levels of the game. Alliance has more than enough players to accomplish anything a casual player might want to do.
I’ll answer this question with some simple words.
Horde = Casual, Easy Mode for content
Alliance = Nightmare Mode for content
So play Horde if you want easy mode. Those who still play Alliance don’t want hand outs and easy mode.
