I like the Alliance.
As someone who runs a guild on one of the more active servers, yeah the goodwill and drive to continue this expansion is just not there. Anybody I know from Discord, the guild itself, other guilds, etc just does not want to be here; and I don’t see 9.2 fixing that honestly. Our biggest hope is they handle the corruption issue swiftly and start on 10.0 with a clean slate… no bad management, newly trained and prepared staff etc. But the time it will TAKE to replace everyone being tossed out is STILL gonna be monumental, which means WoW may not make it past Shadowlands depending on how much of 10.0 is already being developed and just how badly IT will suffer. SL is gonna drag on for quite a bit longer than usual, and just how badly it’ll wreck player morale has yet to be seen.
Because I am a Night Elf and there are no Night Elves on the horde.

When you’ve played as long as me, you get tired of looking at the same BS after awhile. I swapped to alliance literally just for a change of scenery. I already knew alliance was garbage but I didn’t care. This is why cross faction play wouldn’t be the end of the world for me.
For others? As someone brought up earlier, the service fees cost too much. Once cross faction happens, race changing should probably be free. Right now? The cost should be cut in half at least.
You’re probably wondering why they don’t just level another toon. Some people like myself have an attachment to some characters (mainly because some things aren’t account-wide 
) and don’t want to leave them.
<---- This right here. Also RP’er so I can actually make my characters based on what I feel like playing/making, not based on game mechanics, raids, etc. mmoRPG and all that.

I thought they went to Illidan so that they could speak Chinese.
I like alliance, high end play ya isn’t the best but I don’t do high end play and I think a lot of people don’t but want to feel like they do.

I played Alliance because I wanted an elf in 2008, and for years the Alliance had some hardcore players. I still play alliance because I’ve become a casual player and I’m a creature of habit.
Killing three level 5 Night Elves trying to get to Stormwind ASAP isn’t genocide. People killed themselves repeatedly trying to get away from Darnassus in Vanilla but suddenly the tree burns and it’s everyone’s sacred place.
Because they didn’t give Horde Dark Iron Dwarves.
That’s because Stormwind is a beautiful city, and I love my black battle strider and the color blue. Maybe one day we will have cross faction grouping. I am hoping the new arena brawl helps with the pvp lfg issue.

I like the Alliance aesthetic meself. Not that I don’t like Hordes either but I guess i’m just more into the Alliances.

Since I have a program to access numerous WoW in-game models and World Maps through Blender for screenshots to be edited and polished through Paint Tool Sai, I do not need to play wow outside of boredom.

i play both factions.
you can do content fairly easy on both
unless your just not smart eough to look through LFG
I mean most of the alliance topics are just whining about horde has more top 100 raidon guilds and they we all talk about blood elves going on horde and make void elf look like a blood elf even paladins. Does that sound attractive? Maybe, maybe, even perhaps, but not to me.
