Just out of curiosity, is there an ignore feature for the forums?
ya if you click on the person and view their profile. in the top right is a icon that says normal, muted, ignored.
you can set that to ignore and it will hide all that players replies
Retard guy whoās too dumb to understand the map imbalance.
But hey, dumb people generally think theyāre smart, because theyāre too dumb to know theyāre dumb.
lol
Thank you!
Its a real thing, its called the dunning kruger effect
Excuse me for not having 5000 hours in AV like you Miss Marshal. I think the GY spawning cap is the biggest problem.
Hit the X in the top right corner, works every time.
To be fair, Alliance also utilized their map advantages when the meta favoured them (the race). Of course, Horde complained and complained too. Horde picked apart how the map favoured allies so much. No balance changes were made though.
So I guess the turn tables.
The irony of this postā¦
Thereās people so blinded by their emotions they see what horde have and call it horde favoritism/map imbalance all while ignoring their own benifits from the AV map.
But hay, emotion is more important than logic these days.
Do you mind pointing out how alliance benefits from the AV map? Iām truly interested in your answer.
wtf you have a 10% win rate? luckyā¦
I hope you were not serious with posting that videoā¦
quick breakdown of his āadvantagesā
-
towers are easier to cap for alliance than bunkers
-only applicable to solo capping, 1 other person allows either to be taken easily
-ignores the fact that horde towers are in better positions
-ignores the fact that Horde have commanders in those rooms while attempting solo cap which typically cant be soloed -
SP terrain āadvantageā due to choke/highground
-ignores the flank path to allow horde to have high ground and spawn camp of GY
-ignores the fact that if horde are pushed to that point they have a free spawn of Lokholor to break any turtle -
Bridge choke
-negated by cave spawn in opposite direction so any deaths at SP after softcap do not get to use bridge and the bridge becomes an advantage for the horde. -
AS GY closer to flag than RHGY
-negligibly closer(few seconds at most)
-ignores defensive terrain advantages at RH vs AS -
bridge bunkers
-bridge just as irrelevant now as in #3
-easy to assault after SP softcap due to cave spawn, rarely have to fight them and alliance at same time.
Also note that most of the āadvantagesā listed for alliance are their final base defense. Youāre already losing the game if youāre trying to defend the bridge or AS, even without mentioning the backdoor which negates this advantage.
Literally every position on the map favors horde.
Where is the statistic that says Alliance loses 90% of the time? Is it just completely made up? Iāve seen both 99% and 90% now, so which one is it?
My personal experience is zero wins going from neutral to exalted pre-druid meta. I randomly got one win during the druid meta after I hit exalted.
I used to share the quest The Battle of Alterac before weād start and there were a depressingly large amount of people that havenāt completed it. Iād go as far to say that The Battle of Alterac is the most time consuming quest for Alliance in the game outside of Scarab Lord.
Yep, noobs didnāt know how to activate their Stun Resist passives
Um, the matches were and always have been 40v40
This is alliance mentality. Assuming all 40 players have to be doing the same thing. Itās a vestige of the AV premade days when they all zerged as one big blob on mounts, making them think they all need to do that all the timeā¦ even though splitting defense/offense has always been the ideal strategy.
Fact is you need fewer players to effectively defend than horde does. That is an advantage whether you want to admit it or not.
The only true advantage horde has is the SH-SP choke to keep alliance from getting onto offense. And even that can be comparable to IB-FW chokeā¦ but because they rarely get to that point, they assume it doesnt exist.
Somewhere around that.
