Why do YOU play a warrior?

After being Ret and Bear for many years I just couldn’t do it anymore, decided to give the game one last go, and try a warrior, and wow it’s hit every box.

Because I hunger for blood.

My Warrior is my main and very first character I leveled when I first started playing WoW at the end of BC before WOTLK released.

I’m boring and usually choose the warrior class for a new MMO or adventure game I start playing.

Look at me, this is my 1st toon I made during BC and I will never part him. I also like smash things as a warrior.

I wish mine would have been. Sadly i never really played warrior until WoD.

I am a chad/alpha and so I play a warrior because only chad/alphas play warrior.

I like them because they are low skill ceiling and I have good closures for ranged. This wasnt the case back in the old days of wrath bc but I do remember a friend showed me a video of a highly skilled warrior in classic executing a warlock for 10k.

Warrior is the only class that I’ve ever been able to click with, no idea why. I’ve tried all the other classes, but always find myself being pulled back to warrior.

I play warrior because I have hair on my sack.

Because we dont use magic or gimmicks. We yell at our party members and motivate them so much they gain increased AP. And for me personally, arms spec is the samuro/Broxigar theme which is rad.

I don’t anymore after 19 years because Blizzard has ruined every aspect of the class.

Because zug. Therefore ZUG, while doing ZUG … so in conclusion … ZUG

I don’t main a warrior these days, but I do often make it a point every patch or so to catch my prot warrior up a bit, sometimes leading off with him.

Warrior is like the Punisher of the wowverse. You don’t have supernatural powers, you just know what you’re doing and have a psychotically high pain threshold that pushes you well beyond what your limits should be.

There’s something hella appealing about that flavor of a character.

There are a few reasons why I play a warrior current as my main

  1. The shaman class has gotten no love from the Blizzard Devs. I could go more into detail yet anyone who spends any time on the shaman forums will see the problems with shamans currently.
  2. Survivability: Compared to the shaman warriors just seem to survive against odds that a shaman could try and go up against and not survive.
  3. Just fits of where I am currently in life
  4. big freakin weapons: as a shaman I got one handed weapons and that is reduced down to axes and maces where as a warrior I get a lot of different weapons both one handed and two handed. Even though warriors no longer use bows, and guns (which I wish Blizzard would bring back as it made sense) I can collect those for my hunter
  5. so many options: while my warrior cannot heal. I have different options depending on what I am doing. If I play with my guild I can tank, if I am just messing around in the world I can DPS, If I want to play PvP (which I suck at) I can and contribute at where with a shaman I do not get that opportunity.
  6. Lastly, Warriors are just freakin cool. As a fury warrior I can just run up with my two massive swords and just start wailing on some mob with little to no having to build anything up.

Those are just some of the reasons I now main as a warrior.

Because I like never being the meta class/spec in any aspect of the game!

Class fantasy, charge, mortal strike and heroic leap. Class sets are the best too
