No it makes everything completely meaningless. When I saw that the fated mount was re-issued it took away that accomplishment and destroyed any desire to continue trying to get the Dragon Flight mount.

Thanks for your concern Cthuwu but Im not upset, in fact, I dont even have half the rewards that they are even bringing back but I am smart enough to realize that this continued invalidation of people’s achievements is bad for the game. People want things to strive for, to be proud of and to show off. People want to be proud of the things that they earn and Blizzard giving previously exclusive items to people or giving away mounts that others spent years trying to get or whatever theyve got cooked up next to invalidate ruins it for the people that actually worked to achieve something.

Blizzard is once again invalidating their dedicated players achievements by giving out previously exclusive rewards in this years upcoming anniversary event. Why do you insist on doing this type of stuff? This isnt the first time you have done this, this is just the latest iteration of ruining players accomplishments. People should not be able to get previous years anniversary awards from this years event. All you are doing is cheapening peoples time and accomplishments and people arent going to want to continue to play a game where there is nothing worth achieving for.

EDIT: Some people seem to be missing the point so Ill make it clear. This is less about this specific incident and more about Blizzard continuing to implement these types of situations where player time, accomplishment, notoriety, achievement or w/e other word you wanna use gets cheapened and ignored.

Oh god, nothing is being invalidated. Its all legacy content, it means absolutely nothing. It impacts absolutely no one except those butt hurt by those who think its some kind of special badge of honor

Did you instead think about getting something because… It’d be neat to have and you wanted it? Was your only reason to get it because it was time limited at a point

I got the mount because it was a weird colour and and, despite Shadowlands being Shadowlands, I like the Wilderlings and want 'em tameable. I genuinely do not care if they make it avaialble in the next Fated season, let more people enjoy the noodle dragon
