No it’s the same.
But some trophies are for specific events. They signify you were there at that time and place and got that award. Like an Olympic medal, you can’t go back and get a swimming medal from the 1984 Olympics, You had to be there. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
There is something wrong with the envious demand to be able to get a 1984 swimming medal even though you weren’t there.

Can’t we all like… Just have fun and not worry about what everyone else has for once? Coming from someone who has 5 CM sets, Draenor CMs, Benediction, had triple mistwalker (now account wide with warband changes), a warbear, rooster among a plethora of other stuff. Yeah, yeah, we got Sha when it was 1/3k. Oh well, there will be other rare things to collect later.
It is ok for others to enjoy these old things.
Stop it with the prestige and play. Just press buttons.

Because someone may have fun earning it? That is part of why people play the game right? I mean I could just wait around for the end of the expansion and easily get gear that outclasses anything I could achieve this tier, so why not just wait?
Besides, some of the things being given away are 15+ years old. I’d rather not potentially wait that long.

Hey man, this is weird to be upset about. There might be something going on if other people having the same pixels as you is affecting your mood and mentality this much. I know you probably wont listen, but if you take a chance and maybe talk to someone it might help to improve things for you.
um, they havent brought back mage tower weapons, challenge mode sets, or elite sets.

No one cares if you logged in ten years ago and got a pet. You still have the achievement for it.

Being alive and logged in or present for a thing isn’t an achievement.
Oh but of course. But when Blizzard decides to give the reward for that achievement away later on, I shouldnt feel like I wasted my time and that my achievement is now worthless?
being alive at any moment in time is an achievement in itself.

No it makes everything completely meaningless. When I saw that the fated mount was re-issued it took away that accomplishment and destroyed any desire to continue trying to get the Dragon Flight mount.
Why bother.
