Why do you insist on ruining and invalidating any sort of achievement, accomplishment and notoriety?

Blizzard is once again invalidating their dedicated players achievements by giving out previously exclusive rewards in this years upcoming anniversary event. Why do you insist on doing this type of stuff? This isnt the first time you have done this, this is just the latest iteration of ruining players accomplishments. People should not be able to get previous years anniversary awards from this years event. All you are doing is cheapening peoples time and accomplishments and people arent going to want to continue to play a game where there is nothing worth achieving for.

EDIT: Some people seem to be missing the point so Ill make it clear. This is less about this specific incident and more about Blizzard continuing to implement these types of situations where player time, accomplishment, notoriety, achievement or w/e other word you wanna use gets cheapened and ignored.

This time around it just happens to be play time. With MoP Remix, it happened to be time, luck and farming.

Half the people playing this game were toddlers when it came out.

It’s not an achievement to pay a subscription.

If it didn’t come from some sort of skill like an elite set or AoTC mount its not an accomplishment or hold any notoriety.

Have you played WoW? People can literally solo old raids and get all achievements and loot.

Out of everything having any notoriety, I do not believe that anniversary items should be unobtainable.

Because Blizzard is simply telling you to not attach your “accomplishments” to something that is so fickle and non-permanent like exclusivity.

if they had a alternate version that would be dope.
tbh im all for having the items return for the new crew. i also get to reunite with hatespark after i sold him to buy game time. 99k back then. kinda wild.
never had baby bear or onxyia. hyped about that.

There are a fair amount of old raid and dungeon achievs and titles you can no longer get. There are still some mounts from AotC’s and other raid and dungeon mounts that are not obtainable either.
