so you would rather have a single sever left with 250 players than a dozen servers with cross realm tools, a vibrant economy, an active rdf, an active rbg, and tons of guilds to ally with for raiding. gotcha, so you are a self proclaimed elitist try hard who cares ZERO for the longevity or health of the game. youre the type that has helped create the fall of wow and why instead of several million players the subs according to activision are only in the neighborhood of 2 million. so glad your happy the game has dropped 10 million subs so you can play the way YOU want too. smdh. the pure idiocy is mind blowing.
You make a lot of assertions there, bud. I never said a single server but yes, less servers but healthier populations. Even with your terrible rdf people over the years called for server merges. Your way of thinking taught people to stay terrible. Its okay to be oppressed. We’ll give you cheap, easy limited content you don’t even have to try at but its okay; you’ll be able to clear mediocre, boring content while we give you give you less content. How’d Shadowlands work out for you? It had all your cross realm grouping tools and people steal pelled off of there as they was nothing to do and leveling was stupid easy and not much lore or question. You need to sit this out. Your cross server way of thinking has lead this game down a path of disaster over the years.
To say anyone actually struggles with this premature abortion of a tool implemented by Activision is a dishonest statement at best and a case of terminal brain worms at worst. Currently what exists is people have to stop playing the game to form a group which cuts into leveling and overall enjoyment. Lower level dungeons are just straight up dead and there’s a severe healer shortage at cap because in order to run heroics you have to stop what you’re doing and wait for a group to form. What SHOULD exist like it did back in 3.3.5 (you know, the patch we’re in) is a tool that automates what is pure tedium so you can actually play the game while queueing as healer.
But Activision needs to artificially pad as much time as possible so people stay subscribed longer. They know Wrath is the last stop for a significant amount of the Classic community so they’re milking the playerbase as much as possible while dedicating as few resources to the game as they can. That’s why it currently takes 22+ days to resolve a ticket, or why all non-80 BGs are more bots than actual players.
It’s also why we have the current implementation of the LFG ‘tool’ instead of the far more efficient one that already exists. At the moment it takes much longer to form groups and that fits perfectly into Activision’s cattle farm.
Well thanks a lot for ruining the game, Daysgoneby! I hope you’re happy!
Damn straight! Now you’re getting it! Welcome to the dark sad. We have cookies and cuddles.
You’re weird. Stop talking to me.
Be nice to him, he may tell you not to show up to work one day in advance.
If people didn’t struggle using the tool then there wouldn’t be so many people complaining about adding RDF.
Yes, the tool is archaic, but it works well enough if you put in minor amount of effort.
The only improvement LFG needs is cross-realm. That way, there would be so many people to choose from for assembling your party no matter the time of day/week/server you’re on.
Rdf extremist are already planning to force rdf into the game as we speak without even allowing Blizzard to decide what is best for the game.
There really aren’t that many complaining aboit adding rdf. Just a view radical, vocal, extremist that will stop at nothing to have their way.
stopped reading here, im sensing a mentality i dont want to interact with.
i ruined it by not playing it after a last brief stint in wod? omg i sure wish i had that paower. if i did have that kind of influence these try hard elitists would get their own servers and regular normal folk would get servers with choices. why? because i want EVERYONE to have the option to play however it is that makes them happy to continue subbing to my game. you know… like pvp servers with no rdf, and pve servers with both lfg and rdf
the major fault in LFG tool, as ive stated before, is when a tank or healer or a combination of the two run a few times… they start ONLY picking people who they recognize. so any new addition players that suddenly start using LFG get locked out. and thats only when theres even active people IN the LFG tool. most who wanted lfg are raid logging or 80 content.
Get your tinfoil hats on everyone. Wacko conspiracy theories have arrived.
Because this is typical in LFG
LF fully geared mage for Naxx 10 (why would a fully geared mage even want to do do Naxx 10)
LF healer Naxx 25. Must be fully geared and link achievement.
LF 2’s Parter. Must have 1k resil and be 2K rated plus.
LF a 3’rd. 2 former gladiators. Must be 2200 and 1K resil.
LF Fully geared disc Priest for Naxx 25. Use discord and gear check.
That’s why.
Not on a mega server (unless there is faction imbalance). CRZ is trash and shouldn’t happen unless it’s sub 80 content and/or faction imbalance.
You forgot:
LF geared mage for Naxx 25, all Mage BiS drops on reserve.
According to my inside sources that i can’t name that are very close to the WoW Devs, the liberals are putting Coding into WoW that are turning anti rdf’ers into far left extremist pro rdf’ers.
To me it’s simple. If you want to do group content in an MMO, you should have some kind interaction with other players.
RFD just remove all of that. You could be running with 4 bots and you wouldn’t know.
Maybe I’m just too old school
